There's a 3rd season? It popped up on Amazon Prime a couple of weeks ago and just like you, due to it being mentioned here, I watched it. But there's only 2 seasons on Amazon :consfused:.
Yeah, that happens way to often on Netflix as well that there's a season lacking because "Rights" on another network/streaming service. In this case all seasons of Dark matter is on Netflix (US) while we don't have a single one on Netflix (SWE). Something something DIAF.

First episode of The Mandalorian is out.
The Epic Store is amazing, I've been able to save so much money by not buying their games.

Now seen the first ep of The Mandalorian. Mediocre

It looks really good. Starwars feeling of the worlds is there.
What annoyed me massively, all the locations was missing name as we are used to.

There are some humorous scenes, lines etc. They all fail.
It is also the first pilot of a AAA/flag ship TV Show that is far under an hour in duration.
Helmet never comes off the Mandalorien, are they trying to build up anticipation? That just so cliche.

Imagine Walker Texas Ranger, with a helmet and a space ship. That was the pilot.

Will continue to watch it, because Starwars.

Actually it's been available for over a month in the Netherlands already, we were the testing country where they tried everything out first.

Not that I got it because I already have Netflix. And Prime. And something dutch. Fuck getting another subscription. So yeah go piracy!

As an alternative: buy Disney shares, wait a bit, sell with profit and use that for subscribing. Works for me with Netflix, my currently best performing shares.

In all seriousness: I plan to by Disney shares in the not-too-far future, as I think that Disney's IP is strong and huge enough so that Disney+ can become a real challenger to Netflix and Prime, if Disney doesn't totally fuck it up. Hence I expect their shares to perform good.

Lots of unanswered stuff viewers would only understand if they are already heavily into Mandalorian & SW bounty hunter lore. The pilot should have been at least an hour long.

I had to explain half of the episode to the Mrs, although we regularly play SW tabletop together and she watched all SW movies.

The whole in medias res start and no explanations won't be so well received by non-geeks.

The whole cinematography was okay and Star Wars, although I clinched a couple of times.
      Spoiler:
When Mando walked down the stairs... it was unnatural... unless it turns out he had been shot on the knee.

Or the whole 'How to train your dragon' beast whisperer part.

Wasnt the second part of your quote a "subtle":
      Spoiler:
Force sensitive thing? If im not to mistaken that would be a way to explain Mandalorians marksmanship, reflexes and general survivability, and not break shit to much (as long as they dont cross over into full Jedi territory)

    So I really liked it.

But then I liked the prequels, so my opinion’s bunk.

I like it too, anyone expecting movie pacing in a TV series is retarded.

Wasn't impressed by the first episode. I get it's a pilot, but the amount of ground they tried to cover and tonal shifts were jarring.

What is it with Star Wars and dumb space horse scenes?

    Mehlorian

The normal problem with recent mehwars stuff, they can't decide if it is a comedy, tragedy, drama or thriller and then try to be everything at once.
