That latest Adam Curtis documentary was pretty good, if very much his usual "we're all doomed but maybe not" sort of thing.

final episode of American gods was pretty good, considering the production issues. even if I prefer the more stylized sesson 1.
Hopefully they get the go ahead for the last season. Which is apparently looking more likely than not.

Enjoyed the first ep. of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. So far a fan of these Marvel TV filler items before the next round of films.
Credit IMO to Disney (painful as that is to say), as they're Disney+ Star Wars (Mandalorian) and Marvel (Wandavision and F&tWS) have so far been very enjoyable diversions for me.
I hope they continue this level of effort for these franchises.
For me Winter Soldier seems like the most/only interesting character.
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
"Falcon" is indeed not interesting so far. Hopefully they improve this during the series run, because Anthony Mackie deserves a better part that what he got so far in this.
Falcon is not a character with great comic history and his film character is pretty boring so far. Kinda need some amazing stuff to get him to be a great hero. I like Mackie but, if they write a good story it'll be a surprise. The issue I have with MCU work now is with upcoming works, there is no way anyone without any powers like Falcon would be consequential.
Well, I liked the first episode well enough to stick with it. Think the trailer was intentionally more cliche than the actual show. Re: making the Falcon interesting, I think you have to view it through a US lens. The angle of "big name hero, still gets fucked by systemic racism" is particularly relevant for their treatment of black athletes, I guess.
Ive started watching Kingdom (SK zombies in medieval times). It is painfully korean, for lack of a better descriptor. Pretty much as expected, and nothing to write home about, but still worth watching.

Recently worked my way through Counterpart with J.K. Simmons and Olivia Williams. May have been discussed before but I don't really follow this thread too much.
Only got two seasons but the plot arc it started with got a proper resolution. Consistently good all the way through.
I love the serial killer documentaries on Netflix.
Just now released a 3 episode mini docu.
Murder Among the Mormons.
Last year we had the most excelent Night Stalker.

Does a population have informed consent when that population is not taught the inner workings of its monetary system, and then is drawn, all unknowing, into economic adventures?
Seen City on a Hill?
Season 2 started a few weeks ago.

Garth Marenghi's Dark Place
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.
