Its not really that difficult to find time to watch TV for an hour or two if you choose to do so mate.
Not when you're struggling in online political debates for the proletariat everywhere, comrade.

Valid point, i did forget that class struggle is endless, and thus takes all free time.

That's only during work hours, doing my class duty.

There seems to be at least 6 hours of capeshit series released every week alone on netflix. The sheer volume of programs coming out that people watch astounds me.

Oh yeah I Don't Feel at Home in this World Anymore was ace.

    i Also want to recommend:

    The Siege of Jadotville
    Take Your Pills (Docu)
Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom (Docu)
Glad someone dug up that list. There's a documentary I'd like to add and that I recommended at least twice before here: Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press

The stuff they make is really good and expensive.
It’s hard to say what their financial power is. However, FWIW they have a higher market cap than Disney or Comcast now, so....yeah, probably.

Lol, just found out they have $12billion revenue, and nearly a $billion per year pure profit. They’ll be fine.
I'm actually shocked they're profit making. I always assumed they were hosting a magnificent bonfire of investor cash.
I feel like everyone has a subscription or know someone who does at the least.
A billion in profit pr year is not much, considering the costs to make a single show.
It doesn't add a lot of "content hours pr million spent".

imo, their subscriber base needs to go up by a whole lot or increase subscription fees.
It looks like they mostly adapted the Amazon model of doing business*): reinvest the earnings instead of spending it on booze and hookers.

*) which in reality is how all business worked for a long time, before "shareholder value" took over as the mantra.

At the same time cue lots of people citing it as a main reason they hate it and talking about it all the time.

    I hate the internet.

Still going to watch it because its the final season
"I think we could all do with sitting back a bit and detaching ourselves from the situation to really think about how these issues reflect on our future and how we discuss them here and be a bit less aggressive or defensive because everyone has a complicated set of circumstances that has led the to place importance on particular issues and it doesn't meany any of them is less valid, we just need to look at the broader picture"
