    Caprica was really good. It just suffered from being on SyFy, and having a shit schedule split season.

    Doctor Who -> Torchwood
    Perhaps not better, but at least as good as the original (hard to compare though) especially the 'The Children of Earth' story arc.

    JAG -> NCIS
    We can argue over the quality of both, but NCIS is better than JAG

    The Tracy Ullman Show -> The Simpsons
    I'm not a fan of any of the two, but the world seems love the spin-off.

    Simpsons were great at one point in time, now it is just a dead horse being flogged around.

    Finally got around to watch Invincible. Really good.

    Started Dopesick. It's not the most amazing drama but the acting is really good even if some of the script is a bit weak. The "villains" are pretty bland and somewhat cartoony. But worth a watch considering the subject matter.

    I'm pretty sure season one was released on Hulu in the USA. Season one was great, it will be interesting to see how well the show copes with the change in the power dynamic.

    That looks terrible. Is the stupid scene transition some sort of comic meme they had to implement to avoid getting death threats by nerds? It looks dumb as hell.

    John Cho seems to look older with each new promo thing they release. Was expecting worse.

    It's a take on the opening credits of the original show, just done up to 11.

    idk people are freaking the fuck out about it, I read this as a commercial to get attention, not a sampling of what the actual show will be. Reserving judgement until the actual product comes out, but I know better than to hope for good things in this timeline.

    Nah, it's the obligatory "it's like GOTG" promo vid everything needs to do these days. This is their take on the original opening:

    Which if anything is more concerning because it makes it look like this is going to be much more of a like for like, "remember this bit from the anime?" remake - especially if they're gonna do the same stories but with hour long episodes. Hope they do an hour long version of Heavy Metal Queen just to annoy people.

    Credits reminds me of Wachowski's Speedracer. That movie was too much for me, and this one more so.
