The E-50M is still gonna be a deathmachine on tracks, just more reliable.
I'm worried about the 170mm German TD, sounds to me that will be a inaccurate piece of crap.

AFAIK, it's the same gun used on the GW Tiger. So in that respect, it is a DERP gun, with low penetration but high HE damage.
But that 17cm gun is only a 3rd option for that TD. The TD will have 3 confirmed options to choose from.
12.8cm gun used by the Ferdinand.
15cm that is yet to be seen.
17cm used by GW Tiger.
The 15cm gun will have a longer barrel length than the JT and supposedly do ~750 avg damage with a RoF of something like 3-4. It's penetration should be around 280-300 range. Although I recall reading something up as high as 310 with normal AP. APCR should be significantly higher.

I love the E-50 already, havent had problems with it burning out post 7.4 yet.
It does, but if it's made longer then it's not an L/52 anymore, so I dunno'. Could be they just don't care.
My engine gets hit a lot now. I don't think it happened once pre-patch. It doesn't always burn but I'm often using rep and aid kits and having to decide between gun/engine or driver/gunner.
Well duh, they placed transmission forward. Transmission damaga == engine damage.
