Distance is just a fucking royal pain in the arse. Really hard to carry on as normal when you're 6000 miles apart. Tried my hardest to make it fine, but it still just wasn't as good as just being around each other. We'd have had at least 4 more years while I did my degree unless she managed to get a sponsored visa here which is really unlikely. Just noticed a girl i use to see unfriended me on Facebook. This wouldn't be something that would bother me ordinarily, my life doesn't revolve around Facebook or anything and it's not like i was talking to her anyway. It's just reminded me of how much of a dick i was to her. I feel pretty shitty now.
Long story short we dated for a bit, but she blew me off. A year later we started seeing each other again but i kept her at arms length, self preservation i guess. She got really into me and i was a dick about it and there was crying. It wasn't until later that i realised what a plank i'd been.
