Did CCP miss the memo about Hulkageddeon becoming a permanently funded enterprise by Goonswarm et al?As can be seen from the first graph, mineral prices actually started falling sharply after the release of Escalation and fell even more sharply following the burning of Jita. This is where the bubble of speculation and manipulation burst, as owners of mineral stocks cashed in. However, Hulkageddon has unquestionably served to slow the fall, so mineral prices can be expected to fall further following the end of the event.
Also, why no mention of PLEX price? It seems to have receded a touch in the past few months.

Who is to say what happened exactly? The resident economist at CCP. Before the last Summer of Rage, CCP promised to monitor PLEX prices and intervene if necessary, which was a vague concession. To be fair, I am sure they are monitoring, I just wouldn't expect them to step in with such small blips as 300-600 mil difference.
