Can't find details on this. If a corp joins as mercs, and a member leaves, are they barred from re-joining the corp while its still at war?
try it with a cyno alt or something and inform us heathens.

So let me get this straight.
If someone wardecs you and you make it mutual, you the have a free wardec until they press the "I surrender" button and you can add half of Hew Eden against them? Can they just surrender without having to pay you?
I believe that the surrender has to be accepted first. So if you felt like never accepting surrender then they're stuck with a war against you and everyone else that wants in forever.
There is probably room for a service somewhere where:
1. corp A scams, steals, or otherwise ticks off a slew of carebear corps enough where they wardec them
2. corp A mutuals them all
3. corp A sells ally spots to interested griefer corps interested in hitting easy carebears as opposed to other griefer corps
Basically if its made mutual then somebody needs to do a proper surrender contract that involves a financial offer that is formally accepted in a confirmation dialogue. Attack can't get out of it by :forgetting to pay bills: and defender can't get out of it by demutualling as long as the attack keeps paying. And yes it is possible to add allies to the system after its made mutual (for the defender). All in all its pretty hilarious but lets face it - its also quite balanced for the times when a 9000 person alliance wardecs a 100 person alliance. Now there is actually a chance to even the odds eventually and thats a good thing.

While I generally consider Jade's ramblings to be the EVE equivalent of Harry Potter erotic fan fiction I have to admit this is a pretty good idea.
You could certainly escalate this to a 9000 vs 9000 person war where everyone in high sec is perpetually at war with everyone else. In other words, something awesome
Privateers Reloaded?
Absolutely. I always thought Privateers wardeccing everyone was a terrific move. The goal here is to create a small corp or alliance and goad one of the large alliances into wardeccing you, making it mutual, then opening the floodgates to anyone who wants to pew. Then you can just corp hop depending on which large alliance you want to chase.Privateers Reloaded?
EDIT: I should mention that it shouldnt be that hard to get one of the large alliances to war dec you. Just go on to the forums and sperg about some injustice and how that particular alliance are a bunch of mouthbreathers who live in their moms basement. Role Play here would also be useful.

This sounds pretty awesome. It's meta-gaming that everyone can get equally involved in and seems pretty fun, unlike most of EVEs meta-gaming that require effort and ISK and multiple accounts.
Not only that, Jade manages to rally a bunch of folks in EvE to make him a bunch of isk when mittans eventually gets bored - if there is any nerve holding going on (doubt it tbh).
I am conflicted, i am temped to put my corp in this as having more targets in highsec is appealing for a corp of 3 guys; on the same note i am not so keen on not being able to gtfo if our plans change. More importantly i am REALLY not keen on being a paper weight on the contract that Mittens eventually hands Jade, (if his nerve holds and the allies arnt just as terrible as goons).
