Looks like the person who passed the ball was offside before the attempted goal but the lines man didn't flag it, but don't understand the goal line official who is stood looking at the goal.
That was six inches being off a straight red card and a penalty. Very, very cynical foul, he knew what he was doing.
Also "goal" was a country mile offside.

tbf to England whilst they look atrocious they do limit their opponents chances to generally being long range shots (except for set pieces looooool). The goal that wasn't a goal illustrates why Hodgson wants his side to sit deep. They lack the pace to be able to play high up the pitch and as demonstrated by Ukraine in that move they got turned inside out.
Apart from the goal he scored, Rooney was atrocious. At least three times in the first half I found myself thinking "Carroll would have scored there."
Let's hope that it was just rustiness and he'll be back to his best against the Italians
he's rusty.. he's not played in a month. His touches really gave him away, they weren't horrific by any means, but they weren't Rooney touches. That header was horrible too :s
