What really pisses me off is that I talked to Garmon about a month before the tournament and he told me that he was absolutely NOT running the OB team this year, and that it would be separate. One poor call merging everyone in to one corp was probably just an excuse. I think they probably would have found any reason they could to get rid of you guys. The other retarded thing was that they said if a "B" team was discovered, both teams would be DQd and they selectively enforced that.

are fearless really as bad as they say, or are they secretly practicing the shit out of stuff whilst pretending to be bads and have genos feeding them intel and setup ideas?

we have nothing.

this week we had one fucking practise session and everybody forgot. the previous weeks we were unable to test any 6v6 setups against 6 guys so we've been trying to simulate the effects of a 6-man gang using 4 guys and illegal implants/mods.

It is going to be a bit embarrassing tbh. I was all ragey and shit about it and dropped roles on ry ry (you can check in-game, i only have my Child Abuser title now rather than my glorious array of hanger access and whatnot) but before i went full-intigo i drank myself into a stupor and had a wank. Feeling much better i've stuck around to help the team practise.

As far as fits go, we've spent so long bittervetting and EFT whoring various concepts we've failed to even put any of them into a 50-point fleet so the general consensus is that everybody can bring whichever ship of Class X they are most comfortable with and we'll just skirmish around like morons. Hilariously this lucky-bag approach may well be our best bet in the prelims because who the fuck is going to expect 4 assorted AFs, a vagabond and a Golem?

There has been no discussion of 12v12. I wish Doctrine. all the luck in the world (god knows they'll need it) but we're surefire prelim losers. Bet now.

The saddest thing of all is lark's Eve-o post in kil2's thread is pretty much bang on the money except th espying bits, but because we're all shitposting everywhere about how terrible we are (largely so we don't look like total spazzes when we get welped) everybody seems to think it's a joke and we have a plan.

So here is the plan: we joined the tournament because some numpty bid without asking anybody and we were too stupid to write the isk off. Now we're just using it as a thinly veiled excuse to post more than usual.

it really was paid for out of the orca fund too after lark drunkenly suicided his into some hisec wardec faggots to try to get them to come off station. the KM is up on eve-kill if you can be arse to look for it - we lost it to godsquad or some such bads.

When we say we're betting against us we're not kidding. We've dropped some serious cash on not qualifying.

So something went horribly wrong for the higher powers of Justice and Logic today and we fluked a win. Turns out SSC we as bad as we are but less lucky.

This does raise an interesting question though - it's no secret that we've bet heavily on not making it out of the group stages, and we're almost certain to get our shit pushed in next match, but some sections of the fearless camp are asking difficult questions. Questions about pride. About honour. Whispered questions about the possibility of progressing...

Those individuals are, however, fucking retards, and even if we were physically capable of winning our next match it would fucking bankrupt us. Even when we win, we still lose.

All trolling aside, we are literally broke. Replacing the ships we lost yesterday so we can fly next weekend has brought our AT wallet and the Orca Replacement fund down to like 200mil. I didn't realize that this 6v6 setup was going to be like 1.5bil. I have no idea how im going to buy ships for the group stages. I am seriously considering just self destructing next round so I don't have to pull my hair out worrying about it.
