Next, starting this week as a part of Sony’s Virtual E3 experience, DUST 514 will be fully integrated into PlayStation Home. Our DUST 514 Home Space is a great way for you to get up close and personal with the New Eden universe, and we’re really proud of how it’s turned out. Its a War Barge cantina in the EVE Universe, you can learn about the history of New Eden, hang out, earn awesome stuff like companions and armor for Home, play multiplayer Slay – the incredible strategic board game – and much more. In addition, we’re very excited to let you know that we are making available a wave of 10,000 “All Access” Closed Beta invites that visitors to the DUST 514 Home Space can earn by completing all the activities inside, with access to all the DUST 514 Beta events over the summer. So hurry and get yours before they’re gone! That said, the DUST 514 Space will remain live, and new content will be added, so Home users can definitely look forward to additional Beta keys to be distributed through the DUST 514 Home Space in the future.

That actually sounds pretty cool. I was hoping for something like this for the Fanfest home space in March. It turned out to just be a textured box with bad lighting and a stage. I'll check it out tonight and hope to be surprised.

No idea. Dust is a 'VIP area' which requires you to complete a dozen bullshit quests to access.

It takes about 30 minutes to do the required quests to get into the 'Dust 514 Event Horizon Lounge'.

Slay is a god damn evil game. If you don't like near impossible challenges and have rage issues don't play it - you will destroy something if you are that sort of person.

It has single player and multi player mode, but no one is playing multi atm (wtf). It would probably be easier than playing the CPU.

My untested advice: build new units before commiting any, don't forget - divide and conquer, forts - lots of forts.

I'm assuming you've never used PS Home?

Start Home under Networking in the XMB. It may have to update. You will have to create an avatar if you haven't already. When you load you will probably be in the E3 Venue by default, otherwise press Start > Navigator > New and Recommended > E3 Booth. Look for the interview stage up front and follow the blue light beam to complete the 12 quests. These take about 30 minutes and are incredibly dumb - don't bother researching, just guess the obvious answers for the quizes and try again if you get one wrong. After that the VIP areas are unlocked and you can access the Dust booth. The portal to the Dust 514 Event Horizon Lounge is the statue of the soldier. After you load the lounge, press Start > Personal > Add Location to Favorites.

All else failing I might be able to invite you directly to the lounge. My PSN is 'sobeyondhelp'.

Cheers mate. Found it and got into the Dust place. Keep getting DC'd tho and was doing alright at slay just now when it DC'd again.

I've won the first 3 games of Slay now (but not appearing in the leaderboard yet :'( ). Mainly just try to keep your unit wages low by having low cost units. The AI will throw it's lvl 3 are you once you get up forts, so just cut it and it's buddies off and watch them die. Repeatedly. Once you start to gain an upper hand use lots of lvl 1 guys to take enemy land rather than spitting it again and again creating new capitals (which require lvl 2s to take over).

Since I just got myself a ps3 and missed out on eve early access hopefully i can use this to get in on some dust action

I played one game where it glitched and set me up as a CPU. I got to watch the game play itself at max speed for five minutes. I lost without even playing.

The AI is brutal.

Interestingly, I saw the scores completely invert itself several times throughout this. Cool game, if extremely 'hardcore'.

You guys all make me laugh. Didn't lose a game at all. Also, wins for the leaderboard only count if they're multiplayer wins, not singleplayer.
