P sure I put a quick reminder that ECCM should be useful like reducing jam time while not changing cycle time in the first page of eve-o responses to at least 1 recent Balance devblog thread. Hardly a new suggestion I know. CCP don't do anything, they are shit at macro-scale balance, nbs.
In regards to sub capital ship balancing, is ECM the only mechanic left where there's a large consensus agreeing that it's broken?
You really think ECM is the only widely far of the mark thing in all subcaps? Pause for a second and think.
There's loads of stuff that needs addressing, but that wasn't what I asked.
There's very few people who would defend ECM who aren't trolling.
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those Thukkers, that way I wouldn't have to have any goddamn stupid useless conversations with anybody.

I still prefer canes over drakes tbh

Contracts to 'Admiral Rufus' please
Make ECM remove all but one random locked target and cap your max locked targets at one. Fixed.
Drakes and Canes need fixing next. Canes to a lesser extent.
Btw, belegarath's post did miss the crux of the issue there being speed and range. That's why I love Amarr, when they're big and slow they still have massive range flexibility.
Actually an '06.

Should've scripted ECM when they scripted all the other ewar. One script to break locks, one to prevent new locks. Throw in a 75% cycle time reduction and bob's your uncle.
Falcon specialized in lock breaker module... That makes sense, cause everyone knows the Falcon/Rooks are always primary, so they a bonus like that would be a good replacement for the current ECM role.

Primary ECM and EWAR as they are in this game in general need to be an active-offensive system by default, not a passive-defensive one.
