I haven't torrented in a while, but I used uTorrent. How does one set it up properly?

I just used the What.CD guide iirc. Mainly consisted of a variety of connection settings and limits and check boxing things like encryption.

So how should you set up uTorrent to not be a bad? I've never changed any settings but then I only torrent at work. Changing internet provider soon and nice new sky high download cap will almost certainly result in some home torrenting.
