I had to go to Christchurch yesterday for a work meeting. Was nervous as hell about more aftershocks, but thankfully it was a quiet one, didn't feel a thing. Later I had an hour free to go cruising around the central city for the first time in over a year, so off I went.
Drove past where the CTV building used to be, then went past the building where I studied for 2 years, currently in the process of being demolished. Then went past our old work premises which had just been pulled down earlier that day, now a large pile of rubble. Then suddenly I remembered an old pizza place I used to love that was a couple of blocks further up the road, pull up and... not only are they still there, they're actually open again for business, fuck yeah. So I bought one of them to eat on the way home last night, was a nice way to end the day.

Exam in 9 hours. Was dozing off to sleep 20 minutes ago. That was until Blakhabi woke me up, having lost her keycard, misplaced a shoe and run out of battery on her phone, asking some randomer outside my window if he knew anyone in B Block that could let her back in.

Moved in to new place now. It's pretty nice, even if there are boxes everywhere for the next week or so. Need to organise some storage for all the stuff but should be pretty good when done. Got to wait 2 weeks for my own internet connection so just leeching off a neighbour with an unsecured connection right now.
Big ups 'mantu. I am regularly balls deep into my overdraft to the tune of $800+. Usually when I do dumb shit like buy airline tickets the same fortnight my mortgage payment comes out.
