I know a handful of self-employed people, half of them managed with the government scheme, the other half were bemoaning the amount being far too little.

The scheme worked on income declared to the tax system over the previous years. Those that were always flashing the cash (literally) and driving nice salary sacrifice pick-up trucks (counting as work vehicles) were in the latter camp.

My heart bled for them, truly. Tax dodging cunts.

I mean, they probably have ambitions of a switch port at some point, so in that sense, they would have designed it to scale down as much as possible.
    meh

Wait until the end of October for the new AMD gpu and CPUs and definite nvidia 30 series benchmarks. Not to mention that stuff will be in stock. Probably.

It is around that time, isnt it? Mine is 5 years old and was budget back then... whats a decent low-power option nowadays? I dont want to pay for a 600W space heater just to play ARPGS and roguelikes.

Do you even need to upgrade then?

I would think so, although the CPU is probably the real bottleneck atm.

Yeah the CPU has to go, 4770k looks like an easy upgrade with only 30w more. And 1660s is two times the powah at only 125w TDP.

That brings your machine above my level of potato so it's a bit confusing to me how you might have problems.
