So there has been some drama in my little social circle recently between two people, messaging one of them I discover that they've been drawn into "a talk" with the other.

I assumed he means "a talk" in MSN like our chat was, but when I join Ventrilo looking for other people, they're the only two people in there. After ten seconds or so of sheer panic, I join the AFK channel.

13th anniversary today. we can't go out as it's a school night, etc, etc...and this weekend is alumni weekend at the university so town is going to be packed. Nevertheless, my wife taught the children of the owner of our favorite restaurant (and arguably the best place in town) and was able to arrange a reservation for us on Friday night @7PM.

Also, after taking a week off from any kind of drinking...I probably drank too much last night (after a really busy weekend) and think I should take another week off.

Yesterday, little brother can't start car, rides my bike to work. No big deal. Then I discover that instead of securing the bike somehow he simply left it in the parking lot. He works at a giant retail superstore, so of course it got stolen.

Me: Why didn't you take it inside or at least put it behind the store?
Him: I was already late.

Every time I begin to think he's not an idiot he does something like this.
