Game mechanics changes:
Terrain and objects reworked to fit new game modes on El Halluf, Murovanka, Steppes, Ensk, Himmelsdorf, Ruinberg, Erlenberg, Prokhorovka, Westfield, Karelia, Malinovka, Sand River, Siegfried's Line.
UI and Graphics changes:
Added the reaction of the program icon in Windows 7 tray for several in-game situations: battle start, invite receipt;
Added forward/rewind to combat replay playing;
Added new complaint point: Non-informative message";
On minimap, the tank point changed to "tank arrow", pointing out the motion direction, and the "view triangle" now turns according to the camera rotation;
On minimap, tank destruction is now marked with a slight tank marker flash;
Changed light on Himmelsdorf map;
Added the option of sending chat messages in a platoon.
Added new hot keys for opening chat window: Enter - starts team chat, Ctrl+Enter - starts general chat, Shift+Enter - starts platoon chat.

So its JadgTiger that has that enormous transmission+gearbox hitbox that is now dumped at KT, E50 and E75. Komarin and Swamp gone. OK about Komarin, but I still didn't have time to understand Swamp so I don't know is that good or bad. So they are refusing to admit that new game modes just wont work for random battles. Oh dear, I don't think I'll be playing anything above tier 5 for a while after they release this. And it will still destroy my precious :stats:

I may be out on an Island on this......but less maps is never something I'm happy to see. They may not all be perfect, but I'll take the variety over a few broken map bits every time.
If there is a serious problem, fix it...don't remove it.
Speaking of which, reading these patch notes, only just realised they removed province for high tiers. Guess i just blanked out the horrible memories![]()
Two major UI gripes from 7.4
Tank icons no longer scale with size of minimap, they are always uselessly annoyingly small.
You can no longer (or I haven't figured out how) turn on server cross-hair to overlay the client one. CAPS+0 is dead.

yes its a regular settings option now. You will not have both active though if you turn it on.

komarin was worse then swamps but both suffer from same idiotic ideas
main problem is that the crate center of the map where most of the battleshuld take place ether unpassable or choke point or dead zone and thus force everyone on the side , while it should be oposite there should forest and swamp on the side of the map and middle for fighting thus alowing slow flanking manouvers around ... just stupid ... bridges as choke points are even worse ... they completely ruined those two maps and criple elenberg as well
Stupid Question by Me of the Day: Why would you want both? Why wouldn't "server aim" be the only one you'd want, given that IS where the round is going to go?
I wouldn't mind seeing them push the two mountain ranges out to the map edges, leaving a large, tree-filled, road filled, flat valley in whcih to fight. Minimal cover should, hopefully, limit campinova-style. And no "must go left side and right side" will instead create a big battle int he middle with enough room and cover-lack for flanking options.

I think there should be more symmetrical tournament maps.
Server aim can be bouncy and jumpy at time. Its nice knowing exactly where I'm aiming and how contracted circle actually is, but even with modest ping increase it can get annoying. Playing on Russian test server with 100+ ping and only server aim is a terrible experience.

Since I am in New Zealand I play with 220ping standard, so server aim is amazing.
I like both because it means I can line up a shot while I wait for the server aim to catch up and I know I already have a good shot when it hits the same point I am looking at.
I for one am very sad that you can't have both and I think I might just go cry in a corner.
I dont use the server side one.
I just find it annoying.

Yea they removed the stupid amount of crew damage, in pretty much every match I played on the test server for 7.4 I have seen a tank go down because all the crew died.
As for client side corrshair vs server side, I like having both, the server side one is super jumpy and likes to stick to things.

I use server side aim for all my tanks with one exception.

For some reason the game starts fine, but by 5 minutes into the match, my FPS start progressively getting worse and worse when I keep server aim up. And I'm talking 2-6 FPS bad. So I take server aim off, and my FPS goes back to normal.
