I'd also be interested in the pre inferno figures. The ones from my post come from chruker and only show a 24 hour period. I do remember CCP saying that during one of their mass tests some time this year they had 800 people in system, and I'm presuming most people on Sisi then would be taking part.

If you continue agreeing with Rakasha after more than four hours, consult a medical professional as this may be signs of a serious medical condition.

Remind me again, those graphs go from present to past, left to right, no?

Also yeah iirc there was a big 600+ attendance masstest a little while back. Might have also been the one with huge, almost-certaintly predictable crashing & teleporting bugs, which I expect burnt a fair chunk of goodwill.

Recently you need only be logged on to Sisi during a MT to score SPs, they're too busy dealing with issues to run the checks that you're in the POS bash/gatecamp

As to the topic and CCP listening to feedback, they have eventually come to comment in the threads and say they appreciate the info and ideas, things like split pane windows that they seemed to have never encounted before but would be a great extension of this idea. Tippia even did a video of how Sisi is/was broken for many use cases and how to fix/improve things. There's been plenty of constructive detailed feedback, they're just slow to listen and react, yet not slow about getting something, anything out of the door on the arbitrary release date (which already had a unusually announced prepatch and will of course have subsequent patches, and it's hardly summer yet).

Yeah, newest data on left. Catches loads of people out when the TQ stats are linked on Eve-O.

CCP offer participants of mass tests free skillpoints (on Sisi), 2m SP per test

Yea well... to make my opinion heard sitting at jita spamming

"♥ persistent windows back sooner rather than later ♥ end to unfinished patches ♥ protesting at monument until fixed ♥"

...or until my account expires in few days - which will result to not sitting in the game at all before fixed.

Trying to do anything constructive with unified inventory as it's current form would just make me hang myself (and even I know many who would actually love to see such action, I still refuse not to).

So i fitted up a pair of spaceships yesterday forcing me to try the new inventory system, i figured "well fuck, i'ma at least try to use it before i asberger it's badness"

First five or so minutes was "OHARGN Y CAN'T I SEE ME HANGARS AT THE SAME TIME" and "STUPID SMALL WINDOW"
The fifteen minutes after that was "ooh, so shift-click to open sub-windows for multiple-can dragging, filter items not only by type but also name, hey i can rescale this stuff"

By the end of it i realized i managed to fit together mods and ammo and drones and shit for my two ships at least twice as fast as it would have taken me using the previous system, on the basis of filtering letting me find stuff i was after, i am actually starting to like it more and more

Not flawless, but it actually works if you use it like it was intended

my only real grief with the new inventory is that there aren’t persistent windows, but once that’s fixed it should be pretty good (once i’ve got used to it anyway)

    QFT

The new system if you start using it with a bit of skill is unbelievably fast the changes in the devblog above us a fucking godsend for people who live permanently at pos (read WH dwellers)

Not saying the system doesn't need a lot of iterations to be perfect, I'm saying it's a fucking giant leap for manking away from what was a retarded system into one that with some tweaking and fixes will make shit easier for everyone.

the amount of whining about this new feature who obviously haven't given it a chance or doesn't realise that every single bit of software that comes out these days has bugs in it's first version.
somehow making out that CCP is unique in this is just . give them some time to correct things.

I'm not some sort of ardent fanboi, but I do feel that when "the rage" is unleashed over stupid shit like this it's extremely counter productive because it's exactly this kind of thing that pushed CCP to the point when their employees don't want to listen to anything player base has to say simply because the base acts like fucking assholes no matter what they do.

We have them listening now since burn Jita so how bout toning the vitriol down a notch and instead trying to be helpful and a little understanding of the software industry.

PS they are obviously listening seeing as every single fix on todays patch is stuff that players stated need to be put into place.

Listening's nice. Thinking would be nicer. Shouldn't be that players have to shout about the obvious stuff (for weeks, and be ignored until it's shouts from TQ/in GD), CCP should be able to make the call that something key is missing/wrong and is better to be released after it's fixed. Iteration doesn't mean the first public release has to be shit.

I'd be happier with the unified inventory if they had added the filters without unifying the windows; the functionality regressions with cargoholds and between session changes, alongside a user interface that feels very sluggish, makes for a frustrating experience.

That was my point with the Sisi numbers though. There's so few people that use it overall that any feedback they get that isn't bug hunting is meaningless, especially as things like the UI subjective. Given the mini-shitstorm this is the perfect time for the csm to push for a fully customisable UI.

If that were the case, then they could just as well close Sisi down, because it would just be a mere promotional tool at that point. You really do not need many loud shouters to make an argument count, but a clear and understandable write-up of the issues. People like Tippia (for example - I know he's not the only one who voiced dissent, but a vocal/active one), are quite spot on on what's wrong (and was severeal times in the past) and his blogpost pointed at exactly the problems that people are having with the new UI on a massive scale. It predates the expansion by at least a week, is well written and even features a video about some of the issues. Also quite a number of the replies in the threads over on EVE-O make it clear, that the issues were pointed out to CCP several weeks before as well, but recieved little to no attention for what reason ever.
What do you or CCP demand more? Do we really have to go on Sisi and mass-protest before mind-boggingly underwhelming stuffs are released to TQ? That shouldn't be the point of that server or the purpose of the people who have the dedication to go there and do more then fool around with free ships and mods.

Also it wouldn't be so bad if CCP hadn't just acknowledged Tippia's feedback, but had done something about it before release.

From the SISI inventory feedback thread on 11/05/12 (over a week before deployment)
