What game controllers do you use?

Do you use the stock PS3 controller, 3rd party controller or any of the fancy mods for the stock controller?

I was going to give the Gioteck HF-2 controller a go but it was DOA.

PS3 controller - DualShock 3 or whatever it is. I have a sharpshooter thingy but I can't get used to it.

Let us know how that works. I was thinking of trying it out, but don't want to go through all the effort if it sucks.

    Yes.

Whether they've actually got that functionality in the beta is another story tho.
    Contract stuff to Seraphina Amaranth.

I bought in once of those gioteck controllers along with a Razer Lycosa keyboard off a Korean dude so I'm going to use positive racism to assume it's pro-tier.

My original dualshock 3 controller died a few months ago due to me spilling beer over it, so i thought fuck it and bought a cheap ass controller from speedlink. needless to say the analog knobs where inaccurate and uber sensitive as fuck

went and bought a new dualshock 3 controller and suddenly im actually hitting things like i want to!

I've tried a few different controllers and inputs that allow you to mimic a KBM feel on a console. None of them really ever game me what I was looking for or just felt bad. After reading around about the Xim3 I picked it up for my Xbox to try with BF3. It was amazing, felt just like playing on a PC. The mouse was actually accurate and smooth. The nice thing is you can download custom profiles for specific games or set up your own manual settings to fit your play style.

It would appear they have a new product called the Xim Edge which works with both PS3 and Xbox. If Dust doesn't have KBM support straight through to the PS3, I'll definitely be picking one of these up. Just thought I'd spread the word.

    Free and works.

Once you find out what the different configurations do and how to set them it's near perfect.
