Ban 'em all, let God sort 'em out

Sunday morning, upon trying to log in, I was greeted with the following message:

Banned - Reason: EULA/TOS violation: Macro use

This had been applied on each of my accounts, and EvEMon suggests I have also been negwalleted (only about 300 mil total, not an insurmountable amount I guess). I would hazard to guess that my accounts have been flagged as non-transferable now, which is a shame because I was getting ready to consolidate a few characters I had been developing onto one account.

If I had been botting or macro'ing or whatever, I would just shut up and take my medicine. The fact is that I haven't done anything of the sort. I know it's boring, but I just play the game within the stated game rules, like a good little lemming.

The main reason I am posting about this is because I want to know if anyone else has RECENTLY caught the banhammer when they didn't deserve it, what they did about it, and what the end result was. I know a lot of people caught bans around fanfest, some unjustly. I'm especially interested in what those folks have to say about it.

Just a few more things I'd like to mention:

1. I have filed a petition in which I politely whine about being banned unjustly, and attached all the game logs from the days leading up to my ban. I expect it will be a while before they respond, especially with the expansion coming out. I'm not holding out much hope for anything more than a dismissive copypasta response.

2. No, I have not been using a programmable keyboard or mouse.

For ISK, I suicide gank in highsec and do exploration in Syndicate, with the occasional L4 mission or bout of ratting to get my sec status back up.

Sometimes, I make enough to pay for my accounts. When I don't, I pay with a credit card. This month was one of the months I paid with a credit card. Interestingly enough, a payment went through the very morning of my ban.
