Added you. Main issue I see is: You aren't using One With Everything, which is required. You also want to get a helm (any helm) with a socket in it. The 14% life was one of the biggest things for me at the step you are.

Also also, why is every Monk stacking fire ;p. It inflates all the prices for the gear, and it's also what I'm stacking! Anyway, weapon looks okay for tanking, lots of nice life on hit. Shield is kinda meh, due to the really low block amount, so you're not really getting much benefit from the whole "carrying a shield instead of a weapon" thing. Get an Ivory Tower with a slot, can generally pick them up for very cheap (200-300k). Pretty good for act 1-2, will last you some time.

I really hope that I wont get my ass kicked in the northern highlands ++ zones. Opinions? I want to stick with a 2Hander for as long as possible

Still plugging away at Nightmare. I didn't realize how important it was to stay current with gear, spent 40k in the auction house and literally doubled my DPS.

I don't think I've ever raged so much in a single game in such a short period of time... including all my years of quake 3 and it's latest reincarnation. 35k dps wiz and getting my ass pounded at every step in act II. also, just did a Butcher farming run, stacked up valor x5, died on 1st attempt, disconnected during 2nd attempt, lost valor stack, now venting my anger on an internet forum

If the session hacking bullshit was true blizzard would have found it by now. Given that gold sells for ~£12 for 1.5mil, d3 accounts are worth a lot more than any other account at the moment. So its not a huge surprise more accounts are getting targeted.

Build for 1h and shield, get your self a cheap ~6-700 dps 1h with ~20% block shield and its fast to clear. Run in hitting Ground Stomp, Earthquake, WoB and frenzy the nastiest mob while spamming Revenge. As you get comfortable swap in as much MF as you feel is necessary.

@Malaes - Just cleared act 1, died several times to some really bad champ combinations but it feels ~ good (and yeah, fragile). I'll grind some gold and get myself a nice shield. Im full with semi-shit rares I dont want to vendor because I can get 5-15k for most of them. The 10 auctions limitation is retarded

Aand I also got my first Legendary today :P a really decent Amulet which gave me more str, 241 life on hit and 7% vit (which will scale really well <3 ). Should be more than good for now.

Im not sure if I like Frenzy with Maniac more - the bonus damage will be really nice, but I often find myself in situations where I cant really keep my frenzy stack up (kiting etc). But I really want to try something different for a change, fury-less builds can get booring really fast (especially without Berserker Rage - I needed the 3rd defensive passive ).

If you do find yourself backing right off (or flee mode) just hit anything nearby to keep up frenzy stacks, pots, tables, chairs, anything will proc it just hold shift and hit any destructable object to keep those stacks.

Ok thanks what should I aim for before I try Act II? Any guidelines I can follow or something :> After some more digging in the AH I realised that it isnt viable to try to get every stat on every piece of gear (too expensive / suboptimal etc). It should be much better to get some specialized gear with (for example) Vit + Resists and other pieces with Str and something useful (or resists .. whatever).

~700 resist all, 9k armour, 32k hp (low ish) 12k dps, 24% block and 875 life on hit. Those are her stats (with shout up) and she farms act 2 comfortably

i was avoiding using owe passive, i do change to it sometimes if im getting totally destroyed, im trying to get enough +all so i dont need it, as for fire this is not intentional but molten mobs do suck so ok lol

Had my inventory and Enchantress screens both up. I right click on items thinking I've got the vendor opened. Items I click on go onto my barbarian. I realize my mistake, I open the vendor and sell all my good gear. Before I realize they're gone from the buyback menu. GG Rans, GG

Haha, fair enough. They really are a nightmare for DH to deal with. That's basically the build I'm running, but I have impale (grievous wounds) instead of gloom. As good as NT are, I can't live with just them as my only hatred spender. Too slow and unwieldy to aim - sometimes you just need to zap something and be done with it. Devouring arrow is so good though that you can almost just use it as impale depending on how the rolls go, so I can see the argument.

As long as its working for you, its all good

I have decided fuck trying to kill reflect damage mobs (unless they are also missile damp) and rolling with mark of death with the 12% damage splash rune.
