In terms of a 1h to look out for, anything with str/vit and a socket is great. If you don't have any LoH you can stick a +300 gem in it (not that you need it, it just makes things smoother) or a 70% crit gem to up your dps

Alright then, I can survive elites pretty easily now it just takes awhile to kill them so all I need is damage it seems.
My current barb stats: 40k health, 8k armour, 550+ resists, 19k dps at full fury.
Status: getting fucked by Sandwasp Elite/Champ packs at the start of act2.

Pop wrath rape some of them then avoid stuff and wear them down. A life on hit gem in your weapon might help you (unless you have some LoH else were). You "should" be ok with them it will probably take you a while to kill them though.
Stuns have shorted durations vs elites/champs as far as I know so groundstomp isn't so useful. Threatening shout with falter might be a better choice
I did act 2 with a 2h so I don't have a huge amount of experience with it failing that, avoid the baby wasps? :P

Running this at the moment and everything is easy to survive although Ive only run into some elite sand wasps once. DPS is kinda low but nothing kills you.
I tried the "play less drunk" tactic last night and cleared 1st half of act2. Died a fair bit, so it's definitely progression content, but getting there.Originally Posted by Malaes

Yeah that sounds like it would be better, starting to get annoyed with Inferno atm cause all my friends quit this game without even finishing nightmare and all the public games I join are so bad.
You might actually find it a lot harder in multiplayer as you don't have the enchantress's armour buff

I guess but every group I join seems to be incapable of killing elites and just die constantly, I'm not even sure how some of them have managed to progress through the act.You might actually find it a lot harder in multiplayer as you don't have the enchantress's armour buff

Anyone interested in some monk gear for isk, lemme know via PM or in EVE (Mr Noah). Haven't touched D3 in awhile and wouldn't mind getting something for it all before I leave (beyond the $100 I made on paypal).
