I'm torn whether to use it on a wizzzard i currently have at 43, or try to get 500k ish for it.
As my barb can now farm Act1 and is breezing through Act2 (17k dps, 50k health, 500-600 resists) im not sure about the money.
Someone give em 1 mil for it and call it done

otoh that build posted last page for teh barbz is awesome - thanks again \o/

    I finally had some luck with the loot-fairy and got a 1-hand sword with ~750dps, 120str, 100vit, 500 loh and a socket.
Don't have exact stats or pics atm tough. So happy for my barb.

Confirming the loot fairy has been awesome recently.
Except for a bought 800dps dagger, i'm fully kitted out in drops that me, a wizard and a daemon hunter have received on 1.5 act1 clears.

I still hope though, that they bring back a few things from d2 ... like weapon-switching, using a bow as barbarian (you never did any worthwhile damage with it anyway and wouldn't do now, so why restrict it?).

Probably to limit the amount of "buff bow barbarian" whines on the forums.

Except you can use it at level 47. Making it worth a lot.
    100k bid right now. easy.
Should be worth quite a bit indeed. Since Kripparian made a video basically saying "lvl requirement reduced items are OP", the demand has risen considerably
This makes no sense to me. The game is so fucking easy to level to 60. Why bother twinking out?

I had a 2h mace drop for my barb-to-be, 993dps and -16lvl. Just need to level the barb to 44.

Those level47 i63 high-dps weapons make a killing on the hardcore server.

When PvP comes in, expect the price of these things to skyrocket. Even if they match you against someone of the same average ilvl of gear, you could make a low level twink with a 63 weapon and low ilvl gear to offset it. Unless they ban level reduced items in PvP, it's going to be hilarious.

Level reduction gear is only important in hardcore where getting to 60 in the first place isn't completely trivial.

PVP will all happen at 60 with a tiny low level scene at a low enough level where they just won't matter (unless you can roll -30 level requirement which I fucking doubt).

I seem to die instantly to every elite and normal mob in Act 2 inferno despite having some fairly ok gear from farming the butcher like 8 times, what else do I need here?

Screenshot shows my resistances without the +50% from the shout ability.

    Okay, couple of things.

-Lose the 2hander. There is literally no point in d3 at the moment. As a melee character you want quick attack speed (1.4+) and good life on hit. If you're using AoE that doesn't proc LoH, I suggest some lifesteal too but the opinions vary on that.
-Your resistances are too low. For comparison, I've got 1,500 all resists as Monk with more than double your armor, and that barely holds up in Act 3. Barbs have an easier time, and you should be fine with 800+ resists in act 2.
-You're a barb, the vit to armor passive is one of the best things ever. You scale with Strength and Vit, so get that. Personally, I advocate being able to survive every act in a defensive setup, then slowly moving to a more dps oriented build. Make sure you have the base stats necessary to survive, then start building higher dps. 21k Hp is nowhere near enough as a barb, you should be at 40k+.
-Armor is too low. Start searching for items in the following manner: Set requirements as Str, Vit and All resist, with a maximum buyout of say.. 500k or so. Then sort by armor to find the pieces that have the aforementioned three stats + "of the fortress" for more armour. Setting the buyout lets you look for those cheap 1d12h deals that are pretty integral to gearing up cheaply.
-Get rings and amulets with LoH and crit chance. Again, search the AH properly, you can always find everything for cheap.
-Get a socketed helmet, even if it has worse stats than your current one. The 15% life thing is a huge boost.

Get more strength your dps and armour will go up, armour being the main reason your getting raped.
Your resists are FINE more than enough for act 2. I had 900 res all when I killed diablo (with shout)
Don't worry about life on hit, if you run the revenge 1h/shield spec you don't need it. I killed up to diablo with only 200.
Try and get your HP (30k-40k is enough) up look for a belt with high vit decent str and % life. Yes a socket in your helm can be good, but imo its not worth having a gimp help just for the socket.
If you can get crit/% crit damage on stuff its good!

In terms of gearing up if you are on EU you will most likely find it a lot more expensive to gear up as from what I have seen the EU AH is a lot worse than the US one.

Yeh the only problem is the expensive as fuck AH I have a good shield I can use instead of the 2h and I think a weapon too so Ill try that and the other stuff, ty.

edit: Got some new gear and have 35k HP and 7846 armor, just really bad DPS untill some of my items sell and I can get a better 1H
