    Found a good Monk tactic i've been using the last few days to farm Rares quickly. Not sure how well it would work for other classes with similar burst abilities.

    Step 1) Get 5 stacks of NV
    Step 2) Get a pack of 3-4 mobs to 10%
    Step 3) Apply exploding palm to a mob
    Step 4) Kill the mob ensuring it kills all the other mobs in the pack
    Step 5) Get 3-4 times the loot you are meant to get (you can get extra NV stacks this way as well)


    Prob works with other abilities if you can kill them all at the same time but exploding palm works quite well as it does 30% of the mobs health to other mobs near by. Hard to get it to work on mobs that have some kind of invulnerability or are ranged as the exploding palm range is very small. Its quite nice to see 7-8 rares appear from a single pack tho it makes me sad when i inspect them and 1/2 are lvl 50-60

    Stopped playing the game after I got my monk into all ilvl 62 gear, I can't find anything better than what I have on the auction house unless I pay 75mil for a weapon...
    Act 3 and 4 are bugged with bad loot so I'm not even going to bother playing them.

    Diablo 3... Lets just say it was fun enough for the 45€ I paid. Maybe once they fix the rmah timeout I might even be able to get my money back.

    As a wizard I aimed for crit gear from the beginning as it was obvious that IAS will be nerfed (and it mostly artificially inflated the char sheet dps for wiz anyway). Now sitting at 38% with 191% crit dmg.

    Yeah, there needs to be a bigger way to take good items out of the softcore economy. Maybe something like making items more appealing to salvage based on how much theyve been used / changed hands, or just based on some kind of quality metric that considers the stats of the item and not just its level / rarity when salvaging.

    In fact, yeah. Every x monsters killed with an item (across all players that use it) "enchants" it with some magical dust bla bla whatever, and when you salvage it you get an increasingly nice bonus depending on how many monsters that weapon has killed. x has to be a high, high number though. Should probably also be influenced by mob. Could drop mats that let you craft specific stats etc, basically tie in with a blacksmithing revamp.

    Then when you find a new item, you're faced with a choice: do you AH the item, or is it ripe for a'salvaging?

    In a ladder system the economy would get cleaned out once or twice a year anyhow when it gets moved to non-ladder. Noone would care if non-ladder economy is flooded.

    Anyone know why items are not BOE? That would allow drop rates to be much better as good gear would not get recycled again and again through AH and item pool would not increase all time.

    can anyone post me a decent Sword/Board build for a barb in inferno?
    I've 40k HP,. 11000 dps and ~350 ish resists and the first 3 champ packs i saw raped me in the ear.

    admittedly, one was "huge hulking dudes with palgue/descrator/wall/shielding" next Laping dudes with fire chain illusion extra health desecrator adn finally molten, plague, horde shielding.

    Should i concentrate first on getting through the game on inferno, and not worry too much about resetting / clearing NV stacks ?

    Sigh. Dude, can you at least show me the respect of actually reading my posts, or any other posts in this thread? The "herpderp you'd need 100k+ weapon dps" argument has been made 4 times already, and exhaustively refuted in my post.

    I have read your posts, unfortunately you fail to provide any real numbers and are instead posting opinions as facts.     Because the reason Diablo 2 was succesful for so long to begin with was that there was no soulbound. Imagine you pay 250€ for a great item and then a better one drops 2 days later. If there is soulbound then you're fucked and wasted 250€ with no chance of getting it back.
