Unfortunately, owe is not an optional passive in inferno. You don't use it because the ease of use of not worrying about all resist, but because it allows you to double stack all resist stats on items. One piece with 40 single element and 50 all resist is 90 all resist on just one piece of gear. Main issue I see is: You aren't using One With Everything, which is required. You also want to get a helm (any helm) with a socket in it. The 14% life was one of the biggest things for me at the step you are.
Also also, why is every Monk stacking fire ;p. It inflates all the prices for the gear, and it's also what I'm stacking! Anyway, weapon looks okay for tanking, lots of nice life on hit. Shield is kinda meh, due to the really low block amount, so you're not really getting much benefit from the whole "carrying a shield instead of a weapon" thing. Get an Ivory Tower with a slot, can generally pick them up for very cheap (200-300k). Pretty good for act 1-2, will last you some time.

No doubt a good amount is classic phishing/keylogging, but cases like that make we wonder.After looking at the packets myself, I did a test to see what was happening.
I used my second account got the toon up to level 50, removed all his good gear and traded over to my other account. I then put crap on him and left him with 500 gold. I then start playing act 1 hell in public games. I got the toon up to level 52 a day and a half later. Some dude joins my game, opens a trade screen says "biy o k". The bate was set and the hook cast. I Log my other account in on another computer trade the new loot off of him except some minimal stuff and 5000 gold.
Just as I finished transfering, my account logs itself out. A few seconds later I see it log in under my friends list. I did not log it back in. (Again to be honest my second account does not have an authenticator so I don’t know if it would stop session ID spoofing and I wont test it with my good account. I use the second account as a mule.) After I see my account log out, to be on the safe side I changed the password. I logged back in and my toon was stripped bare.
Just a note I put an old computer back together and did a fresh install of win 7 and only put Diablo 3 on the computer. I don’t use it for anything else. It has never visited any website and does not have any email.
i take that with a grain of salt.
again, if is about spoofed id's, non secure trafic, authentificator would not matter.
we would get reports of them beign hacked to.
is just a layer of protection, is not sudently encrypting trading packets.
i can see them getting at the top a realid from those packets but not the passwords, and anyway, if that was the case, it would have been patched on day 0, because is more than obvious.

Meh, I don't buy any of it. I've played nothing BUT public games since completing normal and clearly haven't had a problem.
But let's test it. I'm sure someone in here is setup to read packets. I'll gladly get in a game with you and open a chat to see what sort of information is being passed between the clients.
Edit: Thinking more about this, so what if you sniff anything? How would you go about hijacking that session? A hacked client that does what...allows you to inject a session during...I guess a loading screen? TBH, it seems extremely far fetched. I feel like if session spoofing were actually possible, and people were actually smart enough/motivated enough to do it, they would wait for the RMAH, session hack people, then mass purchase items that they themselves had listed at stupid high prices.
Edit #2: One other thing. I'd love to see data on the # of compromised accounts and what the percent of increase was AFTER Blizzard made general chat a default channel...unwittingly subjecting the entire player base to gold spammers.

You may be able to modify the outgoing packets that your client sends to the server. Who knows, too lazy to check with wireshark.
While that sounds logical at first it involves the risk for the hacker that either other hackers or blizzard find it too. So you cash out while you can. Specially as prices for gold will only go down from this point on.
Not saying the hack is real, might as well be a red herring or troll, just strange to see people cleaned out that i know dont fall for phishing or the likes easily.

yeah i mean i played a lot of pub games when i first started, so i'm still skeptical. the lack of case sensitivity on passwords is pretty funny though. i didn't realize it until recently. so much wasted use of the shift key.
