We haven't really heard anything about:
1. Exfiltrating (the opposite of deploying) - to give an example, Imagine you switch to your ultra-rare dread guristas forge gun heavy dropsuit because the enemy has 3 maurader tanks at a chokepoint. You successfully waste all 3 after 6 or 7 minutes heavy fighting with a remote repping buddy keeping you alive. Having won the chokepoint conflict, the next objective is a couple of miles down the path. What do you do? Are you forced to stay in your dropsuit till you die?
It seems to me there needs to be the option to return gear (and, more difficultly, vehicles) to your command ship. Perhaps this could be done at specific facilities.
Vehicles are a bit more problematic - if you cant return them, any thing deployed is basically already dead except for if you survive the whole match (which seems unlikely if the FPS mechanics are at all conventional). Returning them might require a drop-vehicle to come pick them up. Lots of gameplay potential for shooting such ships down.
2. Looting - mid-battle? Will you be able to pick up dropped guns and kit? How will powergrid/cpu requirements apply? Can you have cargo? Do you have to drop your own gun to pick up theirs? Can you turn 'extra' kit in somewhere to make it safe? Can you loot allies? Isnt there a lot of griefing potential in that if, in a random matchup, one of your allies is using something really expensive you could teamkill them and take it?
3. Salvaging - end-of-battle? Will there be 'salvage' from destroyed vehicles, operative but abandoned vehicles, discarded weapons etc? Will it all automatically be collected a given to the victors? How will it be split if so?
