If you don't already own a PS3 don't run out and buy one before he game is actually released. Unless you are trying to get in on the beta of course.
Then again perhaps buying one now to play a similar game just for the sake of getting comfortable using the controller is your thing. But I am betting most of you will just go keyboard and mouse so, meh.

Just tried to play first time since last big update the other day, and keep getting a 'ache files are corrupted please reinstall' error in logging in.
Anyone else heard of this, and ideas?

did you try reinstalling the game then?
Just restart the PS3 - the corruption of Dust is usually a false alarm.
You can also try the 'PS3 Rebuild Database' startup option. Google it.
