I don't think there are as many fw missions runners as people think. I'm running fw missions for Gallente right now and and on the average night I will only see at most 10 maybe 15 people running missions. The militia only has 100 people on average on-line at any time. It seems to me that most are not running missions.
I see loads of Caldari mission runners so I would assume that there prices will stay the same if not go down. But if the other militias are like the Gallente I can't see there being enough fw mission runners to keep up with demand. You have to assume that not all of there lp will go into datacores...
not just missions that will generate LP for faction warfare now though.
Someone said that a minor plex, gave them 10k lp. Minor plexes can ofc, be run in a t1 frigate, with a low skilled alt. Well some can anyway.
Major plex was 20k lp, I think.

being an active member of the galmil i can tell you, we often discussed what point was to actually do any "plex capturing" or killing against the enemy militia if one would still need to farm LP for the special militia store.
This fix, giving LP for actively PvPing in the militia is exactly the incentive needed to achieve the Amalgamation of PvE and PvP in the faction warfare.
There's going to be a big increase in both demand and availability of LP.
LP could go up or it could go down, it depends on how those things balance out.
How do you distinguish between someone going for a quick sale and someone who wants to liquidate some of that LP? I don't think you can. Nevermind when station traders wade into the middle of it and spend all day undercutting each other.
That's a problem anyone trying to sell stuff on the open market has: dealing with the relentless 0.01isking.

I'm not entirely certain the folks who visit their R&D agents for the first time in a few years, with 15,000 datacores suddenly poofing into their inventory, really care much about undercutting either... ya know?
On the other hand, if the Mech. Engineering datacore stays minmatar only we're going to see some interesting changes.
I think there's a good chance that 'racial' data cores will stay with their respective militias.

Which is why I bought a few thousand Mech Eng data cores just in case.

eh, datacores are really just another symptom of a wider problem.
which is corp roles, and science/industry jobs. the roles that allow a person to do jobs for the corp, are woefully insecure. Someone who only needs to use the ammo blueprints and a handful of minerals, can see other jobs, such as t2 or supercap building, or whatever. And can screw them up by pressing the wrong button, either maliciously or drunkenly. which tends to make industry and science only done by alts and alt corps, because of the trust issues.
I'm starting to come around on the idea that prices will rise on data cores that are in demand.
