Except nothing happens then - It's as I get into the game, and nothing works - unable to move or anything - just see some grass as if it hasn't actually put me on the server yet (I do see the HUD on the right of the screen though).

Also, is there an easy way to find FHC Server?

Sounds like you're in the debug field. Could be a variety of things, best to try multiple servers to see if you always spawn there or not.

As for the FHC server, filter for Dregek. I know he shut down the server for a bit last night before I went to work, and I'd rather not open up ARMA to take a look if it's up because I'll never go to bed.

Seems to be a new version out - I've got 1.7 but a lot of the servers are showing 1.6.xxx or something.
Anyways, will try a few more servers (only see about 4 of them after scrolling through the whole list twice) but figure they're in the middle of upgrading or something.. if not, I'll go play BF3 and try again tomorrow.

Yeah. You can filter for 1.7 pretty easily, it's worth installing the beta patch for ARMA itself as well.

It's easy. People grab extra food/ammo/whatever while they're out exploring and put it in the tents. If some dickbag grabs all of said food/ammo/whatever and doesn't leave any, someone else won't have any to grab when they need it.

The two halves of your statement do not produce the situation you desire because the first statement precludes the second when only one item remains

e.g. even if someone needs the last can o beans because they are starving to death, they can't take it because you forbade anyone taking the last item.

I'm assuming what you actually intended to say is "Only take what you need" and anyone with common sense would know this, but you are dealing with FHC people so you have to assume a moderate number of spergers.

Doing this my inventory seems to have messed up. Whenever i try to do stuff like eat or drink the action bar lands behind the main UI so i cant click it..
