Edit: After checking 5-6 USA servers i finally found one where it was still a day. But I cant open doors dont know how :/

Im running around trying to find a weapon that can kill a fucking zombie. I have a hunting knife and a hatched. Cant seem to equip them and use them as actual weapons. I am butthurt

Very few doors actually open, you'll see a big green triangle on your screen when they are able to, but almost every house that is enter-able will have the door open/no door to begin with. And the hatchet is usable as a weapon. Hit G for your gear menu, right click on hatchet and it'll give an open to use as a weapon.

why don't you log on dregeks EU41 TS server, get on EU41 and i'll show you the ropes, than i'll teach you kung fu of failing in this game
we can run around electro or cherno with lees and have a fucking blast, it's like skirmishing in rifters in, dunno, where is non gay lowsec center nowdays.
later, when you get bored, you get some pimp gear (i myself haven't come to that part yet) and than gameplay turns to recon or t3 style fights.

edit: some fagot actually managed to alf-f4 to me although i hit him with lee, he fell down, started bleeding, and by the time i came to the body it was gone

Right click on the hatchet in your inventory and "remove from toolbelt". This will put it in your primary weapon slot, but you will need to reload it before using it.


So I log in today for the first time in a few days and go about running through the woods to hit up some deer stands when all of a sudden I spot a patch of white showing through some trees. My lucky ass finds someone's pickup truck stocked to the gills with med supplies and sniper rifles, a FN FAL AN/PVS-4(my first run-in with NV) and a Mk 48 Mod 0. Although in the process of unloading the truck into my tent, the goddamn tent gnome ate my MP5SD. Oh well, it's time to go play dukes of hazzard and try to run over some fools.

Now I'm supposed to go find antibiotics, the super-rare cure for this super-rare unlucky status effect? This is neither realistic nor a fun mechanic. I know Rocket would say HTFU, but it's one thing to have realism take precedence over fun and another thing to have intentionally not fun and also unrealistic things.

Thanks, I actually played for a moment on EU41 but it was full after that. I guess the details for the TS server are somewhere in this section on the forums, i'll take a look.
Finally killed my first zombies found some soda, still no food and damn these things run fast. Killed 5 but one of them caused me to bleed and I fell down to 4k HP before I remembered that I have some bandages. Now everything is blurry and I can barely see logged out for now.
