i support that. you should also get diarrhea if you just eat beans for days at a time. this will promote people to get out there and hunt for real food. diarrhea can be deadly in the post-apoc.

Logged on last night, got the male/female choice screen (not my first time logging into 1.7.2) and was like WTFFFFFF my character is gone? Oh well, grab a hatchet, head up to Stary, grab an AKM, see some flares (night server), so I hide in a tent. Dude comes down the row of tents, I blap him, take coyote pack, MP5SD, G17, GPS, med supplies, etc. Escape from stary and log off for the night.

Today I log in and I'm near Berezino with the average gear I had 2 days ago. Turns out the server I played on last night wasn't properly connected to the hive.

Alternate HIVE servers are gay as fuck.

This one wasn't intentionally an alternative hive server. I've played on it before. It was just fucked yesterday.

Farming the Stary Camp fun!

I was doing that with three other clanmates last week, we got out with shit tons of stuff including three coyote backpacks and mp5 SDs for everyone. It was pitch black out and we had a sniper overwatching, so we bagged like 6 survivors while we were there.

Don't you get constant zombie spawns, or do you just use silenced weps on them? I've only been to Stary once and it resulted in my 2 friends getting ganked by a guy with a M4 CCO and NVGs

When farming the stary tents, you end up having to kill about 2 zombies every 5 minutes. If you don't have any silenced guns, you can just have 1 guy whip out a hatchet each time they spawn.

So I stupidly updated the beta patch and am now running 1.61.94876 which seems to be higher than what servers are running. Oops, guess I have to totally reinstall?

we were just using an axe, if you're decent you can kill them before they hit you and since we had plenty of med supplies as I'd raided chernogorsk hospital earlier that day we weren't worried about it.

welp.

Spent two hours searching for vehicle parts to repair an offroad truck I found in the western wilderness. Finally fix it, decide to cruise through Cherno, Elektro, and Berezino. I then find an abandoned van near Stary Sobor and call up a friend to drive it. Pick him up in my truck and then server dies in a SESSION LOST. I reconnect to find that the vehicles have vanished, and my items and location are also, somehow, rolled back 2-3 hours.
