akm is a fantastic PVP gun not so for PVE. there are 2 m14s one with an aimpoint the other with a full scope so it can cater to all crowds. i find the 5.56 rifles do too little damage to players.

So can I get a confirmation on just what happens now:

What I understand is certain:
- people who had ghillie/camo have lost them
- if you put on new clothes now, you lose your shit

What about:
- people who had ghillie/camo
-- lost their shit
-- did not lose their shit, except for the clothes

- people who have not logged in post-patch
-- will have lost their clothing nonetheless, Rocket WENT TOO DEEP into the database
-- no (I'm pretty sure I'm guaranteed to have lost it but v0v)

I want to log in, but I know I'll be logging into disappointment no matter what



e: also, what's up with ammo then? Because if it's as was promised and ammo isn't almost infinite any more, I'll be moving into the Staryi area for chopper spawn hunting :/. Fuck getting SD mags any other way

I'm loving the M16A2 M203 atm despite the terrible irons on it. Trolling my teammates by firing a flare without telling them is pretty lol. Also, while sploiting with the SD rounds to kill zombies with it, the rounds seem to have become wildly inaccurate in the latest patch. It might have been that way all along but shooting zombies at 50m some shots go wildly above or to the sides.

Also has anyone found this mythical M4A1 HWS M203 yet? I fucking want one bad.

1.7.1.5 still works as before (but you still lose your clothing afaik)

I logged in to the new patch a few times. Lost my camo but not my equipment.
Untill I relogged and tried a different server because of the lag in electro which is supposed to be better now. I then got dumped into the debug area and had no compass to navigate a way back to the map
Had found a chopper the night b4 and was full to the brim of goood shiit. /suicided

Zeds are special again and see you all the fucking time. Store in electro for example. I am slow crouch walking in the front of the store at night and pulling zeds from behind the fucking store....
Also broken zeds that can't movE and snipers fucking everywhere because the zeds are as good as deaf and don't respond to gunshots very often.

Boredom last night led me to playing arma online (iamanoob)
Map was chernarus and I suddenly realised dayz had taught me some good arma basics. Good couple of hours playing. Twas fun.

Acquire jerrycan, go to fuel station which has a fuel pump: http://dayzdb.com/map (uncheck everything and check fuel pump under other)

Move to the middle of the fuel tank, fill can, haul ass to ATV, fuel ATV. Repeat ad nauseam (though I don't think the tank on the ATV is that big?)


PS: you may find a jerrycan inside the fuel station

no no this is different
i ran into him from behind, we were nowhere near the edge (it was on the roof of school in electro).
i jsut ran into him and dropped dead
now it is possible he had a sniper backup but i highly doubt it, since he had a shotgun that he looted from the guy who was there before, and whom he killed with an axe...

ok, something reeeealy strange is going on
first, i thought eu41 was 1.7.1.5, but aparently i got on with 1.7.2
spawn near electro, go to town, loot some shit.
while running from firestation to church someone tries to snipe me down, but fails, i run towards the hospita, then behind and get into school.
First strange thing: i have a problem picking shit in my sidearm slot. i simply cant. if i manage to do it, the sthing stays on the ground (can't dupe, tried it ) it jsut stays there. if i can't pick itup, and if i'm persistant enough, the thing actually despawns and somethign else spawns near.
Also, these misterious deaths. i was watching lower left corner of the screen, people were dying like flies.
And than, again, suddenly i'm dead, broken legs, -10k blood.
And no, it wasn't a sniper 'cause i was keeping away from windows... and was in room opposite the hill the guy was sniping from...
what the fuck, third time today i get rolling, get some shit to go north and than die unexplainably...
