Today is best day, I found a motherfucking bicycle!
I'd only planned to go to the NE airfield to snipe some people and came across this magnificient machine at the peak to the NE of the runway. Success. Now what?

i saw a video of a guy just riding his bike along the coasts, ringing the bell to attract a rather large horde. whenever he'd see a newly spawned survivor, he would bike over and give a friendly greeting as his zerg consumed the poor fellow. you should do that.

7.1.2 has stabilized, and i get on some polish server
i'm in cherno, trying to loot somethin, ANYTHING to shoot with. i attract several zeds, and i hear gunfire. i run to church hoping that god will save me, what i find there is a guy killing zeds with a shotgun. Me, being friendly, offer him all my zeds and loot some shit in church while he's busy. then i bolt.
check supermarket, looted. i find an axe in a shed and goto town.
finally, in one of the houses i find ol' lee. Now, i hear gunfire around the town, and some flares are flying around. 2 guys have baricaded themselves inj the house and are trying to fight Zs off. i pop from the other side and shoot one through window. attract zeds, run to church around and around to lose some and to slow them, kill few that stayed with me, go back to house, try to shoot those two. or more.
Long story short i fucked with their mind for a good hour, taking potshots while they try to fend off zeds. they were shooting and throwing flares and chemlights. they were scared shitless to peek anywhere out of the house, whenever they cleared zeds and try to get out, i'd open fire and attract new horde.
it was glorious. finally, one of them is dead, second one might have bled out.
Third person runs out of the house with silenced m4 and blaps me.
i love you, lee enfeld, but fuck you and your shitty ROF.

also, fuck you Rocket. southern airstrip camp now holds AT LEAST 10 zombies, so no more free guns when you spawn down there.

now, a question: what's the best gun for general pvp? i need stopping power, the guy above, with silenced shit got hit once but that wasn't enough, and i died to a shit ROF.
i was thinking AKM, heavy damage and auto fire...

AKM is great.

Had a pretty lols moment earlier, died, spawned close to cherno, ran straight in and found a makarov on a dead fag, see guy with AKM, czech backpack etc running into the firestation, follow him all the way untill he starts climbing the tower, then i hide under the stairs and wait for him to come back down

I actually like the M14, rate of fire is so-so but it hits hard and you can zero it out to 500m with the red dot sights. It's a true battle rifle as opposed to an assault rifle which actually makes it much more versatile. Great range, excellent stopping power and decent RoF. It is LOUD though, but so is an AKM or an M16.

In the grand scheme of things the M16 isn't that loud. Furthermore, you can't actually zero the M14.

M14 is excellent, its sort of halfway between a sniper rifle and assault rifle. Its insanely accurate but doesn't have the distance of a sniper rifle because of optics, but at the same time doesn't offer the ROF of an assault rifle.
That said most of my experience with pvp has been that its over in a couple of bullets so ROF isn't that important to me.

M14 > AKM for sure. Full auto doesn't really do you any favors beyond about 50m because the recoil makes only the first shot count. Also it sounds like pure ballistic sex.

fun fact: i unloaded 4 rounds in a guys back before he died. he was lying down so i couldn't hit his head, but still... 4 fkn rounds? and i wasn't about to dance around him to get to the head, i was just unloading untill he stopped spraying blood and grunting in fear of a DC.

Than his buddy shot me, but that's not the issue here...

It took 4 shots with a 1014 to kill someone? was that pellets or slugs with slugs most i have had to use is 2 to the chest only reason i go for other guns (AKM or 249 / Mk48) is rof and engagement range.

1014 is a fucking monster. Don't understand why anyone would say otherwise.
One shot zed kills even to the body, fast ROF. Great range with slugs, multiple kills per shot (sometimes) when lining zeds up for pellets.
kills most players in one shot but even if it takes 2 the first has always knocked em out cold for me.
it sounds like its loud as fuck but in practice it isn't... least when talking about zeds hearing it.
Right now it never runs out of ammo either :P
much better sights than the remminton too. one of the few guns I am comfortable engaging zeds outdoors with.

If it took 4 shots to kill them with a "real" gun than it was more likely desync than them not actually dying. Still safer to keep pumping them full of bullets to be sure of course

While I know it isn't the best, I've been having fun with the AKM. It is fairly easy to obtain and the ammo is plentiful. As others have said though, it is loud as hell.
