you spawn with nothing and rocket fucked up the game, hotfix within 48h or so
The loot and zombie spawn timer isn't working, hence the FPS issues for some people and the billions of zombies. I tried a new mechanism for this update, it works with small numbers of players but stops with large numbers.
Likely be a hotfix, not within 24 hours, but definitely within 48 hours.

The visibility change is the biggest thing imo. 2 bars when crouching still in the woods and in camo fffffff.

new zombie attacks make close range headshots fucking tricky.
They currently can see/attack thru walls but not like before they can now teleport in thru a wall and punch you in the face.
You dont even start with beanz!
Loads of shotgun ammo dropping with just 2 rounds, which doesnt work in my remmington grrr.
spawns fucked and resulting in massive fps drop like before once a server has been populated for a few hours.

New starting gear sounds completely retarded, surely new players are just gonna get slaughtered not only by zombies but players with guns as soon as they hit a town?

Even a Markov is a deadly weapon. Put 4 rounds into a person, and he's pretty solid fucked. Hit the head and they're really screwed.
Seriously, just started out again, and took down 2 people trying to kill me, one with an assault rifle. I'm running around with under 1k blood, but I survived thanks to that dinky little thing.
Really not bragging, but everytime I see a post like this I become even more thankful for my M4 SD and NVGs.
I've also done a bit of fucking around with the DMR on a practice range and have found or confirmed a couple of things:
1.) It is zeroed for 400m.
2.) Below 400m the adjustments are 1/2 of the distance between dots for every 50m, i.e. 350m is 1/2 between the center and the dot right above it, 300m is the dot right above center, etc.
3.) That holds until ~500m or so, after which the weapon's inherent accuracy begins to become a much larger issue and the half distance adjustments don't work as well.
4.) You need to aim center of mass above 500m, or you're more likely to miss than hit even after adjusing for range. Headshots are the only one-hit kill at these distances, though.
5.) The values that have worked best for me on level ground are as follows (rough estimates because of #3): 550m is 1 3/4, 600m is 2 1/2, 650m is 3 1/4, 700m is 4 1/4, and 750m is the top of the bottom large post. For shots above 750m, you're going to have to guess because there's no easy way to determine how much you've adjusted.
6.) All of these values are for a fully zoomed in scope. This includes the zero range. Using the standard zoom will negate these values. I'll mess around some more and publish some values for standard scope here in a bit.
7.) Any sort of elevation differential between shooter and target will mess with these values. Targets higher than you will require an aim point higher than those for level ground. Likewise, targets lower than you will require a lower aim point than those that have been already discussed.
Update:
8.) Unzoomed scope is zeroed for 100m. 150m is 1/4 dot adjustment and 200m is 1/2 dot adjustment. Above 200m, don't try for headshots and zoom in for increased accuracy.
9.) The accuracy error seems to be related to distance from the zero. For unzoomed scope, you will likely miss any headshots past 200m; while for zoomed scope, you almost can't miss them at that range and will only start running into accuracy problems around 500m.

joining servesr with cavalira atm and we are both getting a greyed out text of the server running 1.7.0 and we are running 1.7.1
has everyone rolled back their servers to this or have six updater changed files and the servers have yet to catch up?
Wait. Everyone is fucked some way or another trying to play and the zombies are broken in detection and spawning.
