I don't even know who you are(do you even pvp?). As far as I'm concerned 'nuff said. Never seen you even attempt to solo, or do just about anything. (There are ppl who try to solo/release pvp vids, and are terrible - they get major props for even trying without getting amazing results; more than can be said for you)

Just edited out my above post as I made it whilst being slightly butthurt over having most of my chars banned from a certain channel I liked chilling in, and was slighlty hurt at being kicked out of (it was a little while, but I very much so enjoy the channel).

while the "who the fuck are you?" defence is of course deeply hurtful and will make me very sad it doesn't quite qualify as 'nuff said. the reason for my question was simply that there's been a marked shift in your posting over the last couple of months from someone that likes to discuss pvp stuff to someone who now posts in a 'this is the way things are, listen to me i'm an authority on this' manner. i was wondering what had caused the shift (RP, troll, suddenly an elite pvper?).

but to answer your question, i did try solo pvp a couple of times but found it quite expensive/confusing. i now mostly fly scimitars in fatal ascension.

Answering this as legit as possible - I've always felt this way, but I quit smoking several months ago. My sense of humour went down, while my srsness went up. Thats probably what changed my posting style.

That said, mad props for being a logi pilot (even if its in fatal ascension >< ) thats a step up from the "pressin f1 in mah drake in mah 2k man blob yo". I highly suggest taking another stab at solo, either true solo or implant/gangboosted "solo." The new frigates seem to be very good for trying out the true solo with.

The way I speak the way I speak is because I know what works. I am 100% confident jumping any ship I know is fit properly into a 2-20 man gang (w/o logi, logi sorta ruins it) and engaging. There are many, many people who are also this confident, but occasionally they don't know a huge amount about a specific shiptype. I have the (slight) advantage of having stupid amounts of isk, and several accounts, many of which are capable of every type of ship of every race; I fly a lot larger variety of ships than your average eve player.

I'm usually trying to be helpful, despite my occasional ~mad~ (which is usually because I'm slightly butthurt over something, or just having a shitty day at that point). :P

I feel that given the serious response i ought to return the favour. let me first apologise for a spot of light trolling, whilst i actually am in FA and do fly scimi's this is only a very recent thing (and is an experiment in 'engageability' to try and keep eve interesting for myself), I just wondered whether you'd be able to resist a lol_FA comment; which you sort of did, and sort of didn't .

I've more than enough solo kills against the odds (and without needing the crutch of implants/links/pimp... ) to not give a shit whether anyone else thinks i can pvp or not, and most the people that have posted in this thread know that; Though the only pvp vid i've a hand in was gang related (some nonsense about ashimmu's and deimos'). I guess the troll was to make the point that it doesn't matter 'who i am', and that assuming you're in a position to instruct people in FHC can be a bit daft. The active posters in fittings/pvp here are all experianced, cross trained and not in the slightest impressed by engaging outnumbered. Or in otherwords, communication 101 is 'speak to your audience', and your audience here isn't the average eve player.

but really i was just responding to you being mean to sulieman, who's a nice chap. But i guess everyone has bad days.

Most of my chars were banned for a bit following a misunderstanding with some random nazi tawa (I kid, I kid ) which I don't entirely remembr tbh.

Everything is back the way it should be now-let's keep this thread on track and about sulei's upcoming vid. (reminds me of my first one...spent literally 2years saying i was gonna do it "next week")

Bumping this because - of all the pvp'ers I've come across in EVE - Sully is probably the one I would like to see a full-length feature vid from the very most. While those first two fights you frapsed here we're nice enuff, the fights you generally pick takes balls the size of Kansas, and I have a hunch they'll be really enjoyable to watch too, so I'm subscribing to this thread and waiting for more.

Also: FRAPS more ffs. Fights like the one you described in the recruitment thread with you and Tawa (I'm guessing?) trying to grab that smartbomber in Rancer is the kind of stuff that'll have people on the edge of their seats.

Recently anytime I've started Bandicam my FPS drops to hell and I have issues flying, meaning that in serious fights I can't record otherwise I'll DIAF, but then in the less interesting fights I can.....which means that I record (for me) relatively sub-par fights which I wouldn't release except in a "b-side" video.

On the bright side, I should have an actual Desktop in the next month or so which means that all of the above technical problems should be solved and I can record whilst dual boxing (as well as probe on alt without alt-tabbing....).

Might release a collection of the stuff I have recorded before I transition to that PC though.

Did you consider FRAPS instead of Bandicam? Bandicam seems to be attempting compression on-the-fly, which doesn't really help the framerate. With FRAPS you can capture to an external HDD even with a laptop and maintain a decent FPS (30ish or so). Yes, you need a bigger and dedicated HDD (5:16 = 7.71GB), but the end-results might be a lot better.

I haven't got an external HDD and am currently unemployed so not much ££ to throw around at the moment, although that should change in the next month. Atm fraps isn't currently an option

You can cap with Fraps on the internal HDD as well - reccommended on another HDD than the one with the Eve install, but it works on the same one aswell. I mentioned the external HDD because that's something usually subpar from a speed point of view.

Uploaded an interesting fight I had in a Myrmidon, teaming up with a corpmate's (unrigged) Brutix vs Mega, Drake, Drake, Hurricane, Myrmidon, Stabber Fleet Issue. Situation was this: I found a Hurricane & Myrmidon bearing, killed them both. Their friends got mad and camped me in, I pulled them around system whilst a corpmate in a Brutix made his way over. There is one planet that's ~45AU from the sun and pretty much everything else, I stayed around there then with their SFI watching, warped to the sun at 100. My corpmate in the meantime made a pounce just off the sun and aligned down to me. SFI landed ontop of me and the video started.

We had a friendly Cyclone en route who arrived just as we initiated the final brawl, but he couldn't stay on grid long.



I had links, but turned out not to need them. Freezes are due to me alt tabbing to check on him. Youtube ruined the quality again, will upload MKV at some point if people are interested.

Have yet to get any more exciting footage and am currently just farming ISK for when I get my desktop to spend on Battleships, Command Ships & HACs for video.

I was constantly wanting you to get in their face and start properly tanking them, but congrats on pulling them around so well.
IIRC early on there was a cane and drake, but unless the drake was HAMs and slow, why pull the cane away before going for it?
As for editing, that was a long block of stuff, would probably want to be more sped up and/or cut.
