I hear an external radiator is good for transporting the case back and forth to LAN parties...

Mow many people honestly still have LAN parties? And, for those that do, how often do they have them?

For me and my social circle it's a once yearly event, very occasionally twice yearly. I have a full tower case (HAF 932) and it fits in my car no problem along with a monitor, peripherals and cables

hey, idk...the OP said he takes his case to LAN parties...I didnt investigate to see how many he goes to. But if ur looking for portability, an external radiator isnt fucking ideal. In fact, youre better off toting around an ATX case with all your water cooling inside than carrying around an MATX case with an external rad

I attend larger LAN's like the i-series and smaller ones also. Between 2-5 events a year. I don't drive so my current Matx case fits into a suitcase with all my clothes and i stick a monitor in a special carrier, this allows me to get lifts and trains if needed.

People think they need to run two cards for anything more than two monitors...it's a terrible affliction

You can only play lolconsoleports (me3, skyrim) on 3 screens with a single card tho. Forget about running Battlefield or whatever without 2 xfire cards.

It was true before the 590 and 680, there are no other GeForce cards that let you run more than 2 monitors without having 2 cards in SLi

    It's different for AMD cards.

seeing as the OP is looking to use the 680, the argument of "lol u need two cards for three monitors" holds alot less water. There is literally no need for a second card for three panels.
