Saw John Carter last night. Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, story and direction are sloppy but it was enjoyable.

Edit: Does anyone know a good movie tracker. I keep getting movies listed as 1080/720 but are grainy as fuck.

I don't think I'll be able to avoid seeing that movie.

Realised I had "Margin Call" knocking around.

Wow. So very worth a watch.

Some rather good actors and a good script and a very relevant topic (how investment banks accidentally the whole economy).

So I saw Prometheus yesterday & it was pretty crap. Even worse, it had a 5 minute trailer for Spiderman at the beginning (after the previous 15minutes of trailers, including another Spiderman one). I'd like to meet the person who thought "hey, you know what will excite people about our Spiderman reboot? 4 minutes of oh so funny-awkward highschool corridor dialogue between a nerd & a pretty girl!" & punch them in the crotch repeatedly so they feel the ball aching discomfort I suffered sitting through that shit.

Keepan eye out for "Too Big to Fail" if you are interested in that subject. Pretty good movie too.

This weekend was Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spai - wife fell asleep <60mins in. I finished and enjoyed it though I thoughtlessly paused for snack/drink several times without fear of breaking up the story as it progressed sooooo slowly.

Also, The Darkest Hour - Zuckerberg wannabes go to Moscow to promote their new social media site and aliens you can't see invade just after they meet babes. If you don't get a kick out of low-budget no cast b-movies don't watch it.

Exactly what i'm looking for. Have a 50gb up and 50gb down on What.cd. Do they have a similar IRC app process?

Edit: Nevermind, i can get through What.cd when i become a power user. Just have to find some random CDs to upload.

Just watched Universal Soldier, not sure how I hadn't seen it yet but it was excellent. From the days when fight scenes were more than a series of 0.1 second cuts since action movie actors could actually act out a fight.

    yyyyyes, but...
it's a good movie but if you're going to watch it for the topic, also try "inside job" afterwards - 'even though' it's a documentary. paulson is depicted a 'little' less glorified in that one -.-

alsoalso; if you're into reenactments of historic events, try "recount"
even if you're not; try it anyways - it's got kevin spacey :boss:

Watched 'Like Crazy' (Anton Yelchin, Felicity Jones) which is about a guy and a girl who fall in love at college and everything that follows. Really liked it, really bitter sweet film. The way they acted with each other, good and bad, was almost identical to how i've been with a girl in the past. Hit very close to home.

Agreed a very good movie, but I found her character too real for me.. I know someone irl just like her so it was terrifying!
