    I just finished \o/

Awesome game, well worth the money and actually worth far more - I've played it much more than I have some full price games.

The only things I didn't like was a couple of the puzzles being a bit too opaque (but maybe I was being dim) and the very end being much more frustrating than fun:
      Spoiler:
The Undying is pretty lame, big boss fights with gamey mechanics make me sad. Yay, chucking a few bombs then hurling myself down a pit repeatedly in order to avoid insta-death...

Still well worth the journey though.

Oh hell yes. I am really excited about this. Can't wait to see what douchebaggery you FHC types come up with...

"Oh, this dungeon can totally be beaten..." And it's just 20 levels of interconnected teleporters, spinners, holes, spiders, and an exit that you can see but you can't actually get to... : >

As if anyone on FHC would ever go through the :effort: to make levels for a game

I have already thought of a nightmare dungeon to be played on old school mode with teleporters moving you between exact copies of the puzzle room

    Poison isn't permanent

You will find the rest out by playing the game (and there is a short 2-screenshot tutorial!) but the basic stuff is pretty simple and at least I dove straight in without knowing anything about it, was fun discovering stuff.

If you get stuck at some puzzle I would suggest asking for example in here as googling it tends to spoil way too much.

Important stuff to know. Make your team versatile. Need at least one fighter in front, preferably warrior, not more than 1 mage tbh cause they tend to take too much time casting later and one ranged rouge in back is good idea. Fill last spot with either melee rouge which is very good idea or second warrior. This is all of my advice as they starting team composition matters a lot.

I got it at, what 60% off? was 4.99. How much cheaper do you need it to be? Its worth the monies I paid already.

    Wut?

Am playing a minotaur Fighter with Mace, armour and athletics. Human with swords, axes, armour and athletics. Just one point each in the weapons till i find a decent one he can stick with while the rest go into making both of the front row more tanky. Got the Insectoid Mage with Fire and Ice magic, going the fire route first, and a Lizardman Rogue. Back row are aiding in the damage with spear and spell for the mage and spear and thrown weapons for the rogue. So far not bad.

Am I right in that there is no randomization of the map, loot placement, enemies and secret rooms? Are there *only* 13 levels? Sucks, will have to look in to player made maps.

I only started to quicksave on level 2. By which point I was back to the start of the level 4 times, big facepalming. Mage just got the first fire spell and that plus her spear works well. Minotaur is a hard hitter when the uncoordinated fuck hits. Thank fuck for double spear action from the back row to complement my shitty front row fighters.

Also going to bump this for my questions in the post above

Yeah, there are only 13 levels in the main game, took me around 15 hours to do it, used quite much time looking for secrets. The dungeon editor is currently undergoing alpha testing and should be released for public beta soon (and the editor is powerful as hell with live previews and all that)

Ah ok and items and so on are placed so no randomisation?

Also i had 5 fucking rocks, just picked up a sling for my rogue but I have no rocks. Used two before getting to the level I am on for pressure plates but where did the rest go?

Some endgame tips about items and skills, nothing plot related, all matters for early choices, but if someone stil want everything fresh and hard here's the spoiler.
I did whole game without checking a single guide couse i want it that way. Did the second run after with all secret maps and with my whole game knowladge and it was amazingly easy even on hard difficulty.

      Spoiler:
One thing to rule all: kite. Monster foloow you, hit them and move back or to nearby tier before he hits you. Repeat. Crucial vs minotaurs.

There are plenty of ranged throwing weapons later. At tge end you got like 25 arrows and 25 bolts so can swap between bow and crossbow if you want to. As you double shoot that's at least 12 volleys which is more then enough. Just keep picking up used ammo. Nothing is lost in this game. Jump down into all possible traps. There is no reason to deny yourself additional secrets / gold / xp at small cost of healing yourself or sleeping for a while. COnserve food.

Yeah no randomization at all but there is at least one great item for every category. One awesome axe, one awesome sword (swords are probably best, a lot of good ones later), one mace (maces probably worst). If you use any other kind of magic then fire (fir is amazing especially since you can protect your team from fire whichis most common) you should probably check website for some recipies as you can cast spells already but still you won't find combination till very last levels. Shooting weapons much better then throwing weapons. And best way is to max only one weapon skill + some survi ailities. For exemple for fighters the armor one is much better then hp ones. Rouges can tank amazingly well if not best with didge.
