Potentially a leaked AC3 image, no idea what to think if they really are going with an American Revolution-era AC title. I wouldn't think there's much they can do there vs the intrigues of Renaissance Europe.

October 30, 2012 is the current date. So AC3 is the 2012 AC title and considering 2012 was the end of the world to the Mayans, it's appropriate.

USA? Seriously? I don't really get why this was even an option when the other alternatives were Feudal Japan, Victorian England, Renaissance France and Industrial Russia... Any of those 4 would have made much better settings for AC games IMO.

USA? Seriously? I don't really get why this was even an option when the other alternatives were Feudal Japan, Victorian England, Renaissance France and Industrial Russia... Any of those 4 would have made much better settings for AC games IMO.

Agreeing here. I was really hoping for Sengoku Jidai Japan, since that area would be much more interesting than American Revolution. Industrial Russia was covered via that short comic I thought?

i think it might work tbh its obv that the english are ebil in this which is going to suck, a better story would be that you are having your own conflict thats happening and the revolutionary war is happening around you, and you could use it to your advantage by side with either faction or playing them off against each other imo

It looks like the guy is gonna be native american or at least half native, and historically most of the natives were on the British side so there's hope for me there. Though I'd rather he not be on either side because they are both pretty shitty.

hell yeah, this looks sweet. my only problem is that we didn't have crazy towers and shit back then that offered some good renaissance climbing in AC2.
