I just find it kind of amusing when I see this. Fortunately most of the stuff I go to see live these days is attended largely by older punks so don't see it that often.

Stopped going to festivals now, they all seem so bloody expensive and most of the time I'm only interested in one or two bands. Might go to Rebellion fest in Blackpool though. http://www.rebellionfestivals.com/

It's kinda odd cause you stay in a bed and breakfast and just go to the venue for the music. Being able to have a shower and a proper fried breakfast every day is good though and Blackpool B&Bs are dead cheap even in the summer. Also you can just go have a beer at a normal pub nearby instead of getting fleeced by the various pikey vultures that seem to descend on every other festival.

Anyone going to hospitality at The Brixton 02 Academy this April? I'm going with a few friends so we could all join-together if anyone's interested.

Download day ticket to see NOFX and the prodigy.
I had a weekend ticket for sonisphere last year but the lineup this year, hmm, not so much.

It seems many people have thought this way - sonisphere cancelled, probably dead for good. I'm not susprised, considering the lineup.

Went to see Orbital a couple of days ago in the Roal Albert Hall. Was bangin'!

It was good to see nearly everyone at a gig up and dancing (apart from the lady in the wheelchair .. although she was throwing shapes like a pro) in such a quality venue.
Shitting up eve for .... well, longer than most of you scumbags.

    Went to download yesterday.

    Bad:
2 hour delay opening the venue
Worlds supply of mud and rain
    Band slot overlaps
Bronies shitting up the big screens with pony messages

    Good:
    Chase and Status
    The Prodigy
    NOFX
    Skindred acoustic set
    Slash and some dood
    Generally good PA quality.
    Watching people falling in mud
Blagging parking in marshal area and leaving venue at front of queue

    All in all 8/10.
