    "Already replaced" is their particular brand of smug.

    FA has more tech moons than TEST, for reasons that remain unclear to me. (I can only assume that Zagdul's really open-minded in bed.) They can afford to replace all these moronic losses. Meanwhile, us Syndicate locals have to actually spend some time ratting, or trading, or scamming PL members when we lose our ships.

    Despite that, I still look at our killboard and grin like an idiot! It's been great fun, let's keep the good fights coming.

    What's funny is, deployments like these are usually meant to reinvigorate an alliances' appetite for PVP...

    That's because deployments to Syndicate are usually ill-thought out. Deployments to NPC space are either for moons or to reinvigorate the alliance. Syndicate is a bad place to do either. Fountain or Cloud Ring residents typically own the Syndicate moons and it's not a hard jump to get down there to defend the stuff, and Syndicate residents are almost always semi-skilled PvP groups(albeit small) since the space is so shit for ratting. If the alliance leadership is too stupid to recognize this, then it's usually a good sign the alliance is already dying.

    As I said....'meant to....'

    In any case, always enjoyed our fights in Syndicate during our brief time there and wish you all the best in ending the cancer known as FA.

    And, my final announcement likely for a good while in this thread. We (TISHU) will be disbanding as an alliance and merging into another shortly. The operations against FA have been our goodbye gift~
    Members and especially leadership desired a change of pace.

    Thank you all for the good times, our new home sadly lies quite some way past fair Syndicate's borders but I'll make sure to roam a gang down here and blob the absolute shit out of someone soon enough.

    Well, shit. Not that I've been personally active all that much this summer enough to follow the pulse or whatever of Syndicate, but nevertheless, sucks to find out you dudes are leaving. Def swing through this autumn for another BC thunderdome or something.

    Oh, probably, we kind of expect it.

    It gives us a new thing to laugh about. Besides their fits, membership, tactics, FC's, coalition, leadership, delusions of grandeur...

    GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY ELSE. I'm sure it will be soooooo difficult. So difficult in fact that you might just force a Wyvern to self-destruct by showing up.

    Seems we took our pound of flesh from FA over the course of the night. A real fight, and then some crotch-warming ganks.

    Good to see Jester getting in on the action.
    Contract stuff to Seraphina Amaranth.

    Sorry to see you go, TISHU. Best of luck on your future ganks

    We had a great ~~goodfight~~ with FA tonight. As we were forming up for a roam, we got reports of a 20-man FA gang heading towards FD-MLJ, reported as shield fleet with light logi support. We quickly shipped into a skirmish T3 fleet (arty Tornados + tackle recons) and chased after them. Our scout inty caught a straggler in X-M2LR, and held him to try to bait a fight; the rest of the FA gate warped back to save the straggler, and redboxed our scout. He burned off in armor, and our gang jumped in, bubbled up, and started burning for range and killing fast tacklers.

    Fatal Ascension (23):
    * 3x Scimitar
    * Link Loki
    * 9x Tempest (mixture of arty and ACs)
    * 2x Drake, 2x Hurricane
    * Sabre
    * 2x Enyo, Retribution, Crucifier, Vigil

    Rote+Veto (20):
    * Claymore
    * 11x Tornado (all 1400)
    * Drake
    * 2x Rapier, Lachesis
    * Vagabond, Cynabal
    * Sabre
    * Malediction

    http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=8025

    Rote lost two Tornados on the initial burn. Initially, we opted to take out a few Tempests from under the Scimi's reps; they would rep the shields up, but we'd get a bit of armor bleed with each volley, and eventually they popped. Once we were satisfied that FA had committed to the fight and burned off gate a bit, we alphaed the Scimitars off the field entirely, then started nuking Tempests and BCs wholesale. FA deaggressed and jumped through the gate into K5.

    We burned back to gate and started chasing the fleeing people, and caught FA's link Loki and two more Hurricanes, one of which ended up being a plated Cane with a HG Slave pod. That done, we returned to X-M and looted the field.

    Grand total, Rote lost three Tornados and a podla Drake, but bagged the link loki, all of the logi, all but one of the BCs, half of the Tempests, and the frigs. More than a fair trade, imho.

    Afterwards:

    After dropping off loot, we started heading towards EF-F to see if FA would reform; however, while we were in the 3KNK pocket, we got reports of a 14-man Sedition+IRed+Vangaurd fleet coming up behind us in 8V-SJJ. We sent a bait Drake though (with a slightly drunk pilot), who promptly got blown out of the sky; we leaped in. Most of their fleet was able to warp off, but we managed to pick up three BCs to avenge Honourable Bait Drake: http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=8026

    We were a bit tired after this, and headed home. As we were docking, one of our intrepid frigate soloers reported that he had caught an active-tanked FA Tengu on a gate in 3KNK, and it was aggressing his Enyo. We promptly undocked again, and an overconfident carebear was promptly relieved of his 2-bil Tengu and his LG Crystals.

    Great night. Thanks for the GFs, FA and others

    Nice to see FA are still not taking The Hatchery/9Pool's advice and are still using 1200mm brawling Tempests....

    Also is it just me or does the Rote Kapelle killboard not actually link to the killmails in the BR, but you have to scroll down to the actual kills part and then click there?

    Wtb link to RK scout/Logi kb plug-in. I saw it on Jester's blog once, but have been unable to find it again.

    Tuskers did a little roam around syndicate last night.

    Fleet comp was Tengu, 2 Drakes, 2 Nados and my Orcale.

    Scouts get eyes on a gang in MHC, they are larger than us and have fast tackle but still run down the pipe towards FD-MLJ.
    We follow and scouts stay on them, as we near FD-, a camp is reported on the Orvolle gate, a few nados and fast tackle, we expect them to stay and so carry on following the previous gang.

    They jump into X-M and warp to the K5 gate and engage a FA cynobait falcon, I guess the FA guys didn't notice us next door, the order is given to jump in and warp to the cyno at range and we land off of the FA recon gang cynoing into the guys we were chasing, perfect.

    Tier3s are given freefire on bombers, one goes down to my mega pulses and then they clear off field (we are too far for pointing things).
    Next up is recons and some squishy BCs, they all go down without issue, again my mega pulse oracle taking top damage

    http://tuskers.killmail.org/?a=kill_...ll_id=13712775

    We chill in system as scouts go to find some more people to shoot at and within a minute they report a 30-40man FA nado gang with fast tackle and a handful of logi, heading down our direction. This is the gang comp that sulei mentioned above, brawling 1200s (didn't want that tracking anyways). We loot and salvage up quickly and then dock up till they leave.

    We carry on down towards TXW and into vestouve as some pilots are tired and want to log for the night.

    The rest of us head back to home and on the way we pass a 20man (sort of kitchen sink) gang, they have 4 Basilisks, scimitar, 5 drakes, 4 canes, lachesis, huginn, hyperion (lolwut), scorp, brutix and some scrub tackle.
    A drake is caught on one side of a gate as they are all landing on the other side, the tackle is brawled down but not quick enough as the gang jumps in and takes out our drake.

    FC decides to change out to armour HACs and give them a good testing. We change to 2 ashminus, 3 onerioses, vaga, SFI, 3 diemosts and a few zealots, totaling about 12 pilots, we head out in the direction scouts have reported and give chase.
    They head into ostingelle and then back into syndicate, we reach haroulle and form up there hoping they will come back in and fight on the gate there, since we are flashy there should be no issue with them shooting us. They don't and instead flee (as best they can with two BSes) into syndicate, they had two scouts with eyes on us as we set up in haroulle so there was no mistaking our intentions.

    tl;dr, lolFA went blopsing and got spanked, returned with their patented 1200 nados. We get blueballed by a gang nearly twice our size with more logi, BSes and recons.

    I wonder if as an entity Fatal Ascension will ever recover from this horrible campaign.
