Because spoilers with bare youtube links in them are no fun.
Spoilers load after you open them. That's the whole point of spoilers.

Other possibilites, use a proper browser and disable autoload for flash shit if it lags out your crappy machine

More likely it's just browsers not liking it when there is a bunch of videos on one page.
And seconding the get a flash block addon.
