In other news, the new Gojira album is insanely good, to the point of me actually going out and buying it as a physical copy and not just digital DL.
You forgot to mention that he grilled and ate his own foreskin, or at least he tried to eat it, but it was too chewy.

I don't have prejudice, I hate everyone equally.

Entire album is awesome. This and the previously mentioned Gojira album are both worth buying imo.

C, Gojira is pretty damn boss

I saw them playing in Stockholm at hovet (In Flames was headlining, amazing gig), the kind of music gojira plays with some high-end hardware backing it up and a decently motivated crowd is just something that has to be experience
I usually prefer more melodically inclined stuff, but Oroboreus and The Art of Dying really gives me a musical boner able to penetrate rolled tungsten

Been listening to these guys a lot. 60s/70s rock inspired, doom rock/metal. Blues guitar with a bit of metal thrown in, great keyboard/organ, a bit of flute, killer female vocals. This is one of their songs that I instantly liked, the rest really grew on me.

Very, very odd this. You need to like electronica/dub as well, but it might grab some people here.

    More traditional:

Last track off an excellent album:

I fucking love Gojira. The funny thing is I had never heard of them until last summer. Fell in love with the band after hearing "the Axe." I pride myself in knowing all the weird metal bands that people haven't heard of too. You know, the random ass bands out of Terrorizer and shit.

As for Alter Bridge - that's fucking Creed.

There is way too much black death grunt "look how hardcore i am for listening to this" metal in this thread
Where is the proper metal? Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motörhead etc... except for some mentions in page 1 there's too little imho

      Spoiler:

    Iron Maiden

    Thin Lizzy

    Judas Priest

    Motörhead

    Accept

    Saxon

because its more of a thread showing bands that people might not know, if you don't know the bands you linked they don't like metal to begin with :P
