The double gyro + dcu fit on the previous page has more gank and ehp. Why are you not putting any rigs on a 20m+ hull?

I tried to be cool and all I got was a lousy warning about my sig being too big.

Yo i heard T2 dcu and gyros are interchangeable so i put it in the post so you could be less dumb while being a better poster~~~

    Re: Wolf

You should also interchange trimarks to kin/exp resist rigs unless you intend on only ever fighting laserboats. Tho any kind of armor rigs on a 400mm plate wolf doesnt seem the greatest idea given the lack of speed and web.

If anyone remembers that old stabber video i was looking for back on the shc... THIS IS THE SAME FUKKEN SHIP. Fells the same, handles the same. Just smaller and softer.
Also it literally shits all over anything amar (lol laz0rs)
Owns most of the frigs i encountered (well, everythign i encoutnered thus far. Which isn't a lot, mind you). Slower AFs you can kite no problem, faster AB things that land a scram on you you can neut no problem.
First problem is really fast things (lr slicer), but he can't break you in a thousand years.
I fought only one dram but he fucked off when i hit him from 20 km lol, meaning i never killed a dram in it. so no report here.
Also, i never fought a daredevil, but i reckon it'd be a cap warfare thing. warp at range, make the fagot mwd around trying to catch you before you zap him...
FU now i wantto buy 4 wolfs

    Small Projectile Collision Accelerator I
We fly these in Wolfpacks and they are simply (and I don't use the word lightly or often) awesome. Fast, good DPS, can tank a bit and simply an enormous amount of fun, which is so often overlooked in eve. I really like the meta DCU and neut combo. Thanks!

    Re: Wolf

This is probably my absolute favourite ship in Eve at the moment.

    Code:
    [Wolf, WensleyWolf]

    Gyrostabilizer II
    Pseudoelectron Containment Field I
    Small 'Accommodation' Vestment Reconstructer I
200mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I

    Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters
J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I

200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet Phased Plasma S
200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
200mm AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S
Rocket Launcher II, Caldari Navy Gremlin Rocket

    Small Projectile Burst Aerator II
    Small Projectile Metastasis Adjuster I

    [Implants - Wolf]

    Slot 1: <Empty>
    Slot 2: <Empty>
    Slot 3: <Empty>
    Slot 4: <Empty>
    Slot 5: <Empty>
Slot 6: Hardwiring - Eifyr and Co. 'Gunslinger' SX-1
Slot 7: Hardwiring - Eifyr and Co. 'Gunslinger' AX-1
Slot 8: Hardwiring - Inherent Implants 'Noble' ZET300
Slot 9: Hardwiring - Inherent Implants 'Lancer' G1-Delta
Slot 10: Hardwiring - Inherent Implants 'Noble' ZET500

Does a rather tasty 316 DPS with implants and quite literally melts Sabres and other trouble makers. 750 + 8,750 m range means if its scrammed, its dying.

If you read the thread then you'd see a number of plate rep fits /w 200mm plate, ofc if you mean a 400mm plate rep fit then maybe post one instead of +1ing without content in fitting threads?

    Re: Wolf

    MY EYES
    PLEASE STOP

There is no point in fitting a rep with a plate effectively mixing tank types, now is there? Because you can fit a gyro or a hardener instead and be cool as most other nig- minmatards are.

Before you start crying about content:

    [Wolf, tackler]
    Small Armor Repairer II
    Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II
    Energized Reactive Membrane II

Yo razor just post a fit or talk about how its used or give constructive criticism about other fits/tactics.
Others might tolerate shit posting but I'm keeping ship setups clean.

    Yes I am.

200mm plate gives me enough buffer to take down any other AF or dictor I have encountered so far. Rep gives me a bit more tank and crucially lets me rep between fights when in deep space.

    Re: Wolf

Plate and a single rep works well. It's a proven setup on several frigates with the cookie cutter rifter being the prime example of it. Think of the repper as being extra buffer over time. There's been a few times where an opponent has used a sar and ended up killing me because of it, and vice versa.

I like the idea of gallente frigs with a small repper better than minmatar ones, just because they can rep out of structure for ages. But there's no reason to dismiss the plate/rep fits when a lot of the top solo-ers in eve use them.

I can't really see the point of rolling a different fit solo... works really really well despite the lack of a tracking bonus. I do tend to carry Drop to deal with Dramiels, but like Wensley this is my favorite ship in Eve.

I also use a very similar Enyo fit to surprise people, as it doesn't carry the reputation this thing does.

I never think to carry pills in frigates. I should really after losing a dual prop Taranis to a Wolf that used Drop on me.

    Re: Wolf

So I'm curious, between this and the Enyo what kind of success people have with the MWD/scram fits? What do you engage successfully? Short of killing stupid interceptors it seems like anything with an AB or a web can just disengage at will.

What kind of tactics do you use to keep things from running? Is it just a race to kill them before they realize what's happening?

And also, the agility is pretty bad on both. So they seem pretty vulnerable to any camps they might run into nullsec-wise.
