    Fuck new years, We wanted to dress up and go somewhere nice, everywhere was booked out and my best friend then told me he was having a big bash in his cool apartment, roof top terrace in the middle of town. Would be great craic, she doesn't want to go! Now she's in a mood and says she will go, making me feel guilty by saying she'll go back and return the dress she bought for new years. Grrrrrr women

    Your problem here was not laying down the law when "she didnt want to go" the first time. You should have said "ok, see you"
