But seriously Entrox found a merging posts plugin with caching, so if you post twice in the same thread within <X> minutes it merges your posts, so I'm modifying it so that it compares the posts and decides wheter to merge them or to flush the second one if it's identical.
How was that so hard?!
Also, just cure the race-hazard/whatever derp is causing the double-posts so repeatedly.
You really need to have a look at the inner workings of vb one day (torrent it).

That's probably the most complicated kind of issues to fix ever for a forum system like this.
Also, it's a job for the vBulletin team, not for individual forums staff.

Alright so fortunatly for people like lallante and Amantus who don't know about multi quote
I made it so that it won't merge a "back to back post" into the previous one. In the case where it's identical to the previous one, it will just drop it.
I forgot to say, vBulletin already has a mechanism to prevent double posting, but sometimes it doesn't work, maybe (I think) because after testing for double posts it will retry to submit a post if it takes too long to parse it.
