Also, a recent entry into the world of TD games: Defenders of Ardania. It's made by the same people, and is set in the same universe, as Majesty 2 - complete with overdone voice acting and terrible scripts. It is a combination tower defense / offense - you build towers and send your own out to attack the enemy.
Anyway, while the game looks good graphically, that's about where the good ends. The gameplay, while containing some interesting elements, just doesn't come together very well. Multiplayer is also pretty bad. You can beat almost any map by just spamming fast units right at the start. The AI is lacking Intelligence and seems limited to building in the same spots, same order, every time.
Much like Majesty 2 (compared to the original Majesty), it is lacking in depth. You can see where it wants to go but it never really gets there. I'm avoiding that game company's releases in the future, they have been disappointing so far.
