    [PVP] Naga

So I'm working on Large Hybrid Turret Skills as we speak, finishing up my Caldari crosstrain (to match my Amarr skills).

I intend to fly the fine looking new Caldari Tier 3 Battlecruiser, the Naga, and would like to get some fits for possible uses.

Since we have no thread yet, figured I'd start one to encourage fit posting.

    Thanks! o7

-1 invuln, +1 tracking computer (presumably tracking script). Does the tank suffer too much?
    Contract stuff to Seraphina Amaranth.

I'd probably drop a Magstab before an invuln :/ dat EHP 2x MFS / 1x TE might be a better choice, still good dps, much better range/tracking combination.

edit: also warp scram not long point? have you looked at the range on null?
I tried to be cool and all I got was a lousy warning about my sig being too big.

Archetype's fit isn't using all its medslots. The numbers are also fairly significantly off.

    Fixing it:

    [Naga, Blast Actual]
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

    Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive
    Invulnerability Field II
    Invulnerability Field II
    Warp Scrambler II
    Large Shield Extender II
    Large Shield Extender II

Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L
Neutron Blaster Cannon II, Void L

Medium Core Defence Field Extender I
Medium Core Defence Field Extender I
    Medium Ancillary Current Router I

    1234 dps with void @ 10+6.3km, 882 dps with null @ 17+16km, 1106 dps with CN-AM @ 6.8+13km.
    37.7k EHP

If you just sit there and blow something away, the Void load is simply devestating, but 37.7k EHP is, you know, not a lot. In that range, an enemy FC would have to be braindead not to primary any of the new Tier 3 BCs. Tracking will also be an issue against many ships (even the BC+ sized ones) at that range without gang web support. For engaging targets jumping into you, using void is a significant drop in your DPS output due to firing at the full Fallof x1 range increment - both null and CN-AM will do significantly more dps at that range. Now thats not a big deal with a 5s reload time, but you can't really think of it as a "1200 dps on first ship to decloak" boat either.

Yes, the new BCs are actual "Battle Cruisers" - i.e. cruisers with the firepower of battleships but the speed and armour (or shields) of a cruiser.

TBH it's technically what we should have had from the introduction of BCs.
Hello? Oh, hello! I'm sorry it's a very bad line. No, no no... but that's not possible, she was sealed in to the Seventh Obelisk after the prayer meeting. Well, no, I get that it's important... an Egyptian Goddess loose on the Orient Express. In Space. Give us a mo....

    Bad memory

Thx for fixing it Vortex, you seem all right on your statement. But I didn't notice any tracking issues against BC or CS with Void. And the DPS was pretty awesome for a fast ship like that.

Overheat MWD, approach, Blast, scram, blast pouffff...

It blowed up all others tier 3 close range setup. But hey...it was on Sissi ^^

Yeah the Naga is a better Blaster Boat then the Talos IMO.

But this thing does pretty good DPS now with rails too at max lock range as long as you know there are no probes out on grid. But you are fast enough to mvoe around where warp-ins will still land far enough way you have time to warp out and in again at a differant spot.

I made a snipe hac naga. Prolly not too good.

    [Naga, rails]
    Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

    Y-T8 Overcharged Hydrocarbon I Microwarpdrive
    Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
    Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
    Photon Scattering Field II
    Invulnerability Field II
    Sensor Booster II

    Medium Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I

ACR II is a fitting requirement to use the damage rig. If you take that rig off you can go ACR I + 4% PG imp. Or if you're dumb you can drop a MFS II for a PDU II. 598 DPS @ 81+30. Obviously you can trade off optimal/DPS however you'd like. 34k EHP, but an alright resist profile, especially against LAZORZ.

How much do PG6 implants go for? The 3% are about 20 mill but PG6 wasn't listed for sale.

Considering they come from Concord LP and how much the PG5's are worth, I'm pretty sure you'll have to RMT a kidney...

Just get one of those new 'freebie' implants, or plan on using both when the other one's out too, with a PG4.

I'm surprised how few people have clued into the fact that the new implant gave an alternate route to good fitting implants. I'm even more surprised how many people are selling those implants for sub 50mil.

Whats the damage different between a rack of 425's and 350's? The CPU is just so tight on the 425 version.

With that fit, 480 DPS and add in 5k more EHP. Ranges are similar, but a bit less falloff.

Not the best tradeoff in the world. Better than some sniperhacs but not by much.

    lol

OK, for the price-conscious chap in these difficult economic times who doesn't want to compromise on deeps, TK Max offers:
