I would suggesting building a case out of basswood. Light, cheap and easy to cut. Oh and fun.
Still running with the Lego Concept, i'm eyeing up a couple of lego kits it will hopefully fit inside.
Shame the Lego Rifter is far away from production :/

Maybe a nice alternative for the crowd that just wants a small computer to hook up to the tv for some web browsing and such. 720p is a bit meh, and obviously I doubt it would do videos nicely, but to have some browsing capabilities in a tv, it is more than sufficient. Or for a small 19" tv in the kitchen or wherever.VIA Technologies has developed the APC, a Neo-ITX-based barebones system running a custom version of Android 2.3 optimized for mouse and keyboard input. The board is compatible with Mini-ITX and MacroATX form factors, and comes with a VIA 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 2GB flash memory, and built-in (up to 720p) graphics. HDMI, VGA, 4 x USB, audio out / in, microSD and Ethernet come along for the ride too, for a reasonable spread of connectivity. Best of all? The whole lot will only cost $49. No word on when pre-orders will open, but drop your email in over at the source link to find out when they do.
