988m/s, 113 DPS at 6.8+6.3, 5.1k EHP and 3.8s alignment. Not spectacular damage, but dual webs offer good range control. Could also swap a web the new-stupidly-cheap meta-4 tracking disruptors or something. Lots of CPU to spare. Too bad railgun tracking is still pitiful.
the idea of getting new players into the weapon system isn't anything too outlandish.
it's far better to introduce said concepts BEFORE they have trained some fancy T2 frigate or tried to go into cruisers (which would be a whole new level of whatever weapon).
it's a flawed mentality that people think dual-weapons are worse than single.

I agree with this. People lament too much about their ships not being able to this or that in comparison to another ship rather than enjoy and celebrate the differences. Flying out in similar ships with only slight changes to tank types isn't exploiting what the backstory allows us to exploit.

75% hull left, had to stop heating guns once he hit hull (25% heat damage prior to fight, should really stop being a bad and buy nanite paste). But he scored a very lucky hit between mostly missing and barely scratching, like a 230 volley or something.

derp, that was just a comparison - you wanna go with cap booster 50s. Theyre 2 compared to navy booster 100's 3. Was ust a test I was doing to compare, never changed it back.![]()
Care to explain this Prom? An anc. booster running off charges gives you more EHP than an MSE2, doesn't it? If that's the case, then provided the fight lasts long enough for you to get through all your cap boosters, and subject to fitting trade-offs, you're better with an anc. booster than a MSE2. Once you're out of boosters, you can decide whether it will be more useful as a final boost at massive cap cost, or whether you want to reload and try and survive for 60 secs until it does, but I would say once you reach that point the module has done its job, and anything else you can get out of it is gravy...
